Jolly’s is cosy, private and loved by all who stay with all the facilities you would expect from a quality holiday cottage.
We are situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Goodrich. There are two excellent pubs in the village and Goodrich Castle on the doorstep. The market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth are only a few miles either side of us. The Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat are close by and so we are in the perfect spot for a glorious time away any time of year.
From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll feel at home and relaxed. Our super soft linen, fluffy towels, well equipped kitchens, comfy and cosy living spaces will ensure every moment of your stay is enjoyable.
Jolly Cottage is ideal for couples. We provide all bed linen, towels and tea towels, and there is free Wifi and gas central heating throughout the property.

KITCHEN DINER
Well equipped kitchen space so you can prepare as much or as little food as you wish! There is an oven, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer and ample work surfaces. We provide some pantry essentials such as salt, pepper, tea, coffee, cooking oil, washing up liquid.

Comfy sofas, television , books, magazines, games and lots of local information. The perfect room to relax.
PARKING
Allocated private parking space on the driveway, with additional free roadside parking in the village if needed.

A small private, gravelled sunny area with seating area. Perfect hideaway to relax.
ONE LEVEL
The accommodation is all on one level and therefore has easy access.
Perfect for exploring the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and surrounding area. Guests enjoy a range of activities from hiking, biking, canoeing and fishing, shopping and theatre. We also have a lock up available for bikes, canoes and fishing gear.
Monmouth and Ross on Wye are both just a 10 minute drive. They have a range of high street shops and independent boutiques, cafes, and restaurants.
Hereford, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham are all within range for a day out exploring bigger cities.
The Malvern hills, Brecon Beacons are also less than an hour away for those who like to hike and enjoy the beautiful countryside.
There are dozens of activities for all tastes in the local area from trying iron forging, bush skills, cider making tours, vineyards, cookery classes, make your own pottery, tennis courts, canoe trips, cinemas, theatres… the list and opportunities are endless.
