"The dinner meals were amazing. I had halibut one night and salmon the next. It was served with fresh vegetables from the garden. I had soup and mussels as appetizers and both were fabulous. The breakfast was very underwhelming, cold frittata and French toast with Aunt Jemima syrup ,no fresh fruit as promised. Our server Pierre was polite, efficient and kind. "Met all of our requirements for a short overnight stay: safe, clean, comfortable and quiet. The property is an older style but has obviously received some very effective refurbishment. We didn't have time for the free breakfast but I checked it out but with eggs, sausage and bacon and it is a cut above the average toast, cereal and muffin. We (couple, no pets) would stay here again. "
