Beautiful home and property
Everything was perfect. We loved the home and amenities. It was so nice to be able to walk to the ponds from the house and catch fish. Hikes are close, and the farm by the house is a great stop for fresh milk and produce. Our boys just loved it, and it was such an enjoyable stay. We can't wait to go back! back.

Idyllic Cabin on Amazing Property
Gianni and Angela were excellent hosts for our group of 4, and were very interesting to talk to as well (being that they are both retired scientists). The property is massive, and walking around / exploring / finding berries was a highlight during our stay. The cabin itself was also very nice, but a few things to keep in mind - it's a country cabin, so there is no air conditioning (plenty of fans though), the driveway to get to the cabin is rocky so if you have a car you'll need to take it very slow (it is doable, we had two cars), and there is wildlife around the cabin (we found it to be a good thing, but some people might not). None of these are complaints, just context to keep in mind so you know what to expect. Overall we all had a great time, and would definitely stay here again

Great time in a quiet location
We had a great visit to the Roscoe area. This property was very secluded and comfortable. The fishing ponds were a great feature and we caught many panfish and a few bass. We were happy to be travelling in our Subaru Ascent as the dirt road to the house and fishing ponds were a bit rough in places. Overall a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate going back.

End of life celebration for father & brother
The host went out of his way to prepare the home for us in short notice. He put flowers out for us, the home was phenomenal, and able to accommodate someone in a wheelchair on the lower level of the home. The property was breathtaking. We were even fortunate enough to watch birds leave their nest one morning from a nest just outside the back door. The host welcomed us back anytime. Beautiful!

Thankful❤️
After being cancelled on only five days before our vacation was supposed to start, we thought we would not find a place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised when we found Giani’s property. Even with such short notice the home was clean and rest. Gianni and Angela were welcoming and attentive renters. We had a lovely stay.

Lovey home in the mountains
We loved the serenity at the end of the road. If you are after a secluded location this is it. Our dogs loved running around the large front lawn and the trails at the back of the house. My husband brought his motorcycle and loved all the roads around the area. I was able to work from this property using the wifi although the day it poured it didn’t work very well. The home is lovely with the most awesome woodwork everywhere. Since it was just the 2 of us we only used the main level of the home but there are 2 additional levels available for larger groups. The home is about 10 minutes to both Roscoe and Livingston Manor for restaurants and groceries. If you like BBQ stop by The Smoke Joint in Livingston Manor.

Another wonderful relaxing stay surrounded by beauty
Excellent, well kept and organized property. Beautiful house, wonderful grounds. Owner very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very secluded, peaceful, grilling everyday, wandering around the field and forest passing away the time. Cannot think of anything more we could have needed, also just a 15min ride to town for groceries (Peck's at Livingston Manor). Can't wait for our next visit !

Relaxing getaway - 2 hours from NYC
This house and the property were amazing - not only did we have access to the 4 acres of our own, Gianni and Angela own a much larger parcel which we were able to explore - including a swimming hole and some wooded hiking that was convenient the days we didn't want to get into the car. The house is spacious and well-appointed - they had everything we needed, strong internet (multiple adults were able to be online and we could stream movies). The working farm just down the street had fresh milk, eggs, meat and veggies. Callicoon Center, Roscoe and Livingston Manor are all close by and have fun bars and restaurants. This was a primarily hiking trip for us and we were close to many trails as well as within an hour drive of many other Catskills trails as well. Gianni and Angela came by to make sure we had everything we needed, and when there was a power outage in the neighborhood (a pole went down nearby) they checked in to make sure we were all set. An amazing 8 days and we can't wait to go back.

Amazing getaway
Gianni and Angela were perfect hosts. The house was clean, and stocked with just about anything you would need to cook. The property itself was incredible. Acres and acres of land with trails for hiking, 2 fishing ponds stocked with fish. A must for nature lovers. It is a completely secluded property. At the dead end of a dead end. It was perfect for my family to get away from the city and enjoy nature. The owners greeted us and gave us some great tips on things to do in the area and showed us around his property. They were very attentive to any questions we had. We would definitely come back here again.

Comfortable house on a private hill
The house is great with lots of window and sunlight. There’s plenty of room for the group of 8 to spread out and relax. The house is very private as it’s at the end of a road and surrounded by trees. There’s plenty of paths in the hill behind the house to stroll or hike in the woods without going out. The satellite internet did go out briefly a few times when there’s very thick thunderclouds which is expected. It’s the perfect house to relax in.

Paradise
I am reluctant to write this glowing review - much rather would I keep this magical getaway my personal secret. I would give 100 out of 100 stars if I could. The house: Sparkling clean, double-height rooms, sunlight streaming through large windows, a view of endless sky and tree tops. A fully equipped kitchen with all the staples for cooking, a washing machine and dryer and outdoor grill for delicious BBQs. Fresh flowers in a vase in the living room. We visited for 2 weeks, with three kids in remote school, and the thoughtful owners upgraded their internet connection and ordered a new modem - not because we asked, but because they are perfect hosts who anticipate their guest every need. The grounds: Oh, so beautiful! Sloping lawns, blackberry bushes, apple trees which we were invited to pick apples from, gorgeous forests, a pond for fishing and swimming with a spectacular view. Our kids couldn't have been happier running around, looking for frogs and caterpillars. My favorite time of the day was waking up in the incredibly comfortable bed, brewing coffee and then sitting on the sunny deck drinking my coffee and breathing the fresh air (yep, we're from New York City and after six months of lockdowns and masks we didn't remember what fresh air is). There is a fireplace outside, perfect for making s'mores on chilly fall evenings. The owners Angela and Gianni are just lovely. Both go out of their way to anticipate their guests needs and make sure they provide a wonderful experience. Communication is very easy and prompt, and there are so many thoughtful details and personal touches. We were invited to go apple picking with Angela and Gianni, and our kids were allowed to ride the tractor. One of the highlights of our stay was finding fettucine on our porch, home-made by Angela. A few tips for any lucky visitors: Visit the Weissmann farm stand (like, every day). The chocolate milk is to die for! And don't miss Halloran farm, located right next to you. If you like venison, their products are the best (they supply Per Se in NYC...). Last but not least, don't be surprised if you're out for a run and suddenly a pet baby deer with a red bandana around its neck decides to run with you, followed by a guinea fowl (apparently the deer's best friend). Yes, it is that magical a place. We wanted to never leave leave.

Epitome of a Getaway
The daily city life can really take a toll on you, the constant noise, rush and lack of nature makes you not pay attention to the little things. Upon arrival to this house, my family and I instantly fell in love. The location of the house is perfect, it is surrounded by trees and just makes you feel calm and at peace. The home itself is beautiful, welcoming and cozy. Our 6 month old puppy really enjoyed the stay as well, he had plenty of space to get his energy out and also a pond to swim in. Also for anyone who enjoys hiking, there is a trail right next to the house. Lastly, the owners Angela and Giovanni are lovely people. They will answer any questions you might have to ensure that you truly enjoy your stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is overdue for a vacation. We will most definitely be coming back !

Wonderful Getaway
We had a wonderful time at this gem close to Roscoe. The owners were very friendly and responsive, the house was filled with light, clean and welcoming and the property beautiful and secluded. The swimming pond was great for a quick, refreshing swim. We also enjoyed our time exploring Roscoe and Livingston Manor, specifically the Prohibition Distillery and The Kaatskeller. Great place to relax and get away from the NYC hustle!

Great hosts, great stay
It is such a lovely piece of property, made it very easy for my family and I to enjoy our stay there. The swimming pond was a such a bonus, where my nine year old daughter played with frogs and butterflies and even got a chance to fish, even though we caught a few we threw them back as it was never our intention to eat them. Giani and Angela were very sweet and friendly, and even shared some of their zucchini’s and tomatoes with us. There is a lovely farm stand down the street with the sweetest corn, fresh dairy products honey and other produce. Definitely a relaxing stay.

Much needed get away!
We and our friends very much enjoyed our get away to Gianna and Angela’s beautiful home. The house and grounds are very private with lots of room and a huge lawn that our pups loved running around. There’s a great fire pit that we enjoyed at night and we could see the sky full of stars - we were even lucky enough to see some shooting stars! Gianni and Angela were very responsive and followed up quickly to all our questions. There are some nearby towns with restaurants, shops and some cool breweries. We were also able to see some waterfalls and hike some nearby trails. All in all it was a nice relaxing get away and we already miss it!

Gorgeous Property
We had an amazing time at Gianni and Angela’s home. The property is absolutely stunning and perfectly landscaped. It was a much needed escape from our city lives. Both Livingston Manor and Callicoon are within easy driving distance if you are looking for cafes, shops, or restaurants, but we spent most of our time grilling and relaxing on the deck and lawn. The swimming pond is glorious and a nice trek through the forest above the home. As one reviewer mentioned, the queen BR is a loft so just make note of that if that is a consideration for you, it wasn’t for us. If you want to play board games or if you need a hairdryer then bring your own as the property doesn’t have them, but otherwise it had everything we needed and more. Both Gianni and Angela responded quickly with any questions that we had and even came over to say hi, where we had a wonderful, socially distanced, chat. This property is such a gem that we hope to someday find something similar in the area for ourselves!

Great secluded getaway!
We enjoyed our extended stay at this quiet house in the woods. It has a good layout and big open windows to take in the beautiful view! Big wraparound deck and backyard patio are great for outdoor eating and lounging. Gianni and Angela are thoughtful and easygoing hosts. We visited local farmer's markets and did some local hiking. Be sure to pick up milk, eggs, and potato chips at the end of the road farmstand and fresh trout at the Beaverkill fishery.

Beautiful house and property. We enjoyed the fire pit and exploring the nearby river towns. Keep in mind the queen bedroom is a loft so not as private as a regular room. But great downstairs set up for kids with their own bathroom. Definitely recommend.
