Check in nightmare
Followed the email instructions on check in as per email. Email contact person once we landed in San Jose, email once we got through customs, email once again once we had our rental car and head to property. Arrived at gate 5 mins early. Had trouble finding them controller but once found was able to get past gate and into community. Drove to the end of road and could not find our unit. Also we got no response from all our early emails. Contact company but they could not help us to get in contact with person that was to meet us and let us in. After a number of calls and drive around for 90 mins decided to return to San Jose airport area and try to find a hotel room for the night. After 6 hotels found a room at 1:30 am in the morning. So spent the first 4 hours of vacation we finally had a place sleep the night. The next morning contacted the company about how we check into unit. At one point was told we couldn’t check in till 4 pm and ask why since there should be nobody in unit but us. Finally we got a hold of Oscar and meet up with him at 4 pm. We got into unit. I think the problem with check in process was the email contact was off Friday and Saturday so this is why our email did not get answered even though they knew we arriving Friday night. The company compensated us for one night that we didn’t use but nothing for the time we spent trying to find unit and then trying find a place to stay when they could not help us get into unit.
