The historic neighborhood of Pichincha, formerly home to brothels and seedy bars, a haven for mobsters and thugs, is now one of the most picturesque neighborhoods in the city, with the most booming gastronomic hub. At night, the neighborhood comes alive with strings of lights on the streets and crowds of people gathering to enjoy the area with the most vibrant cultural scene. But life doesn’t just happen at night. It is a neighborhood with a high concentration of shops, wholesalers, warehouses, and offices, so it is bustling at all hours. All the necessary services and shops for everyday life are located within a radius of less than 300m.
Very close to most points of interest in the city, the location is beautiful for getting around on foot or by public bike, with stations very close by, perfect for going anywhere if you don’t have your own transportation. Public transportation lines nearby, good frequency of taxis, remises, Cabify, or Uber. One block from Bv Oroño and a few blocks from the river. If you are coming by car, you should note that street parking is free but finding a spot can be a bit difficult. If you prefer to leave your car in a private parking lot, the nearest one, with 24-hour service, is 200m away.
