"Everything is 100% taken care of…just like the pictures promise. The house is very well equipped with beautiful decorations, the kitchen has some spices and everything you need to cook and lovely decks off both sides of the house. a beautiful barbecue and a fenced yard."

"This house was one of the best I’ve stayed in. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and exactly as described in listing. Lots of thoughtful touches in the house to make it a great stay. It is close to dining, shopping, live music venues in downtown Bastrop - we walked from the house. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe. I appreciated the secured parking onsite. I would definitely book again!"

"The property is great for family and friends. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and game room. I loved that the state park is so close and we were able to take the kids on a nature walk. The historic district is nice for eating out and not too far away. Lastly, the home is well stocked and clean. I highly recommend staying here. "

"There are a number of issues with the listing 1. There are NOT 4 twin bunk beds (8 beds). There are 2 twin bunk beds for a total of 4 beds. 2. Property needs some serious TLC with respect to deep cleaning. cobwebs on chairs in kitchen on cabinets. walls/trims showing bad aging. coffee maker still had grounds from previous renters. food still in grill. trash found in common areas upon arrival. 3. the 4 beds are separate from main house (converted garage) and while it had vents, the main house...

"Overall the stay was very pleasant however, much to our surprise when we returned the first evening, we found my grandson’s clothes he had left on the floor covered with large ants. There was no food in the room to draw the ants and we wondered how they had invaded his room, which was where the bunkers were situated. We did enjoy the amenities of using the well stocked kitchen and use of the laundry room. "

"Place looked great online. Definitely not what it turned out to be in person. Owner was very communicative but admitted he wasn't aware of the current condition of his home. Walls were dirty and stained. Someone colored all over the kitchen island. Towels had stains. Some still in the dryer. Dirt and dust everywhere. Shower curtains and sheets were filthy and had stains. Owner offered to send cleaner out. But this wasn't just in need of cleaning. It needs a makeover. It seemed evident that...
