"Awesome welcome from Emma on reception. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Our room was reached from outside - not sure how secure it is. Room was clean - stairway less so. Damp smell in bathroom and shower was either very hot or cold! Should be a TV in the bedroom. The “strictly” element of the signs outside is not terribly welcoming We will stay here again - mainly because of the location and the staff"

"Just had a one night stay at The Wight, first impressions were very dated and tired. The staff there were amazing, so helpful and friendly and really made it for us. The main lampshade was a large 'white' feather arrangement which looked filthy, had cobweb coming off it.The bed was fairly comfortable & bedding was clean.
