"Staying here was by far a highlight of my week in Denmark from the USA to visit my daughter. My daughter and I came to Bornholm for the weekend and could not be happier with our visit! The space is bright, clean and very thoughtfully designed & decorated. Eric was our host and was on top of all the details and very good with communication. He is kind, friendly, helpful and generous. We arrived rather late by taxi from the ferry (less than 15min away) and Eric was there to greet us. The next morning he was happy to me a ride to the airport (less than 10min by car) so I could pick up a rental car. The location of the B&B is very convenient, being close to both ferry terminal and the airport. It is in a quiet woodsy neighborhood with immediate access to a beautiful beach with soft white sand. (Pro tip: Check out the sunset on that beach after sunny day!) We appreciated and highly recommend opting for the breakfast. It was delicious and also very helpful since we didn’t plan ahead and bring anything ourselves and there are no shops within walking distance.) We did however take advantage of the kitchen by making dinner for ourselves - photos of us two as happy travelers with our dinner shown here. (There is a grocery store conveniently located just 6-8min by car on the edge of Rønne plus others in town.) By the end, we felt like we had made a new friend, looking over maps and chatting about family. We feel lucky to have found this gem and dream of coming back someday!"

"The staff were friendly, pleasantly offered recommendations when needed. The room was VERY clean, which was appreciated, and the breakfast was good, and had a lot of options. Be aware, if you have an issue with stairs, ask for a first level room when booking as there is no elevator. I definately would stay there again if on Bornholm."

"The facility was interesting and enjoyable. We were surprised to have a “detached bathroom” which was dedicated to our room but located 50’ away from our room. The facility was spotless and the real highlights were the location, OUTSTANDING breakfast and most importantly the owners who were kind, gracious and truly made the stay wonderful. "

"Very nice location; walk to the beach or into the old town was easy. Room was comfortable. The shower, of course, had the usual European design that spreads water on the bathroom floor, which was a bit tricky for my wife who has mobility problems. There was also a metal shelf placed along the bedroom wall which was a bit of a hazard. We liked the wheelchair lift to the dining area. On the other hand, also typically European, the thresholds for every doorway were awkward for a wheelchair with small wheels. Meals were excellent; breakfast buffet had lots of choice. Part of the visit occurred when the restaurant had closed for rennovations and guests ate in the bar. Dinner coincided with a big rain storm that caused a bad leak over the bar, yet staff and guests together were cheerful and helpful, almost enjoying the sense of catastrophy. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay, good value and very convenient to Køge. Don't miss a side trip to the park at Vallø Castle, which is a short drive south from the hotel."
