"We wish we could have stayed here longer! Everyone - from the front desk to the restaurant - was so pleasant and welcoming. Despite the weather, we enjoyed walking around the property and local area, and then feasted on a superb dinner. The breakfast buffet is exceptional!"

"We spent a night there as it was mentioned in the guide we had. The place is lovely and we had a walk around the village. They can provide bikes to ride around at a price. When we visited (1 Sept) only one restaurant was open so it was lucky that we had booked in advance as there are no other places to eat close by. The restaurant menu is not every extensive but the basil ice cream was very nice. The b'fast is good and the view is great. The only downside, which is nothing to do with the hotel, was that despite the fact that it was very quiet when we visited, we had some people staying above us and could hear them very well so I wonder how noisy it becomes in summer time. "
