We are only a few miles from the towns of Intercourse, Bird-in-Hand and Strasburg and just minutes away from outlet shopping, theaters and downtown Lancaster City. It was a fine space for exploring the local area. I would suggest two things, to keep the window open a while between guests or possibly getting an air freshener with a nice country scent,and to have some bubble bath on hand since there is a piece of artwork in the bathroom which suggests taking a bubble bath . Otherwise the hostess was very generous with supplie

Everything was very accurate to the online description!! It was a wonderful place and community. It was quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be staying here again if there is only the two of us! Thank you Martha for a wonderful stay!! Many bakeries around that were delicious.

We loved our stay. Martha is the hostess with the mostest and thought of everything for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed the coffee bar and snacks, comfortable bed and hot shower. Would definitely stay there again. Will be our first choice when we return.

Holiday shows and shoppping

We go to Lancaster area for Christmas shopping and the holiday show at American Music Theatre every year. Had always booked various hotels until we found Martha’s. This was our second stay and it was just as good as last years. Location is perfect for what we do and the suite and amenities are nicer than any hotel we’ve stayed at in the area.

Perfect place…

The guest suite is so comfortable and has convenient features that make it effortless - motion sensor lights on the stairs and door, snacks and water, clear instructions and explanations, interior lighting in the right places, spare toiletries, etc. Check-in was easy, and the location was great.

Lancaster Getaway

The accommodations were very comfortable and the location was conveniently located to many attractions, dining and shopping. The host thought of everything that we may have needed. I would highly recommend this room for those who planning a trip to the area.

Wonderful getaway

Great place to stay. In a very nice quiet neighborhood, close to all the local attractions, and shopping. Martha is great hostess. The suite is very comfortable. We appreciated the snacks, water and soda, that were available to us. This was our second time staying here, and will definitely stay here again. Nice to be able to relax, and have a wonderful little getaway.

Absolutely lovely!

Martha’s guest suite was absolutely delightful in every way! She thought of literally every detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The furnishings were lovely and the bed comfortable. Great location when visiting Lancaster! Convenient to everything! We will be back!
