"Amazing views and the place is as decribed. We enjoyed the location and views very much. Cozy tiny home with beautiful town and privacy, great for bringing a dog. Loved the amount of technology and what was provided. For future bookers, just know that the bathroom situation is definitely rough, which they did warn us of. It is a basic camping toilet without water, so staying for several days and around bugs makes it tough, but right for a camping experience. Other than that everything else was...

"This was the perfect place to stay for our daughter’s wedding that was in State Road at Whispering Ridge Farm! The owner’s were amazing when we had an issue with the oven. Very responsive and super helpful. The real wood-burning fireplace was an added bonus! Very relaxing decks with magnificent views! Would definitely stay here again!"

"I will start by saying I travel all the time and only book homes through VRBO. This is hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed in. Host was so gracious and accommodating. Great place for a family getaway. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!"

"The property was clean and the photos were accurate. We enjoyed our stay. It had not been used in a while and it was past lake season so that could be expected. Dishes left in the dishwasher had mold. Starter supplies from the property management company were minimal and there were no left over condiments, food or supplies from previous renters. Note to property managers, there is damage to the dock, probably from Helene. We were refugees from the Asheville area immediately after Helene."

"We went to Elkin, NC to go on a winery tour and this was the perfect place to stay. Very roomy, clean and super cute!!! Tracy was a great host and very communicative!!! We were also given a free wine tasting within walking distance which was a very nice perk. Walt at the winery was great as well!!! We will definitely try to stay here in the future if it’s still an option. Thanks Tracy!!!"

" We were looking for a nice quiet getaway to just relax and the riverhouse was everything we hoped it would be. House is fully stocked with everything you could need, and was very clean. We loved the outside pavilion, every night we built a fire and pulled a table up and played cards or a game of monopoly. David was quick to reply when messaged with questions. Owners are super friendly and helpful. We cant wait to go back."

It is a beautiful property and the home is set up with everything you need to feel at home (but magnitudes more gorgeous than a typical home!).
