"I wanted to thank those who worked here, especially the lady who spoke English at the front desk. We were very out of our comfort zone. My mother had just come out of 7 days in an Italian hospital with no English. The cleaning ladies help us feel very welcome. They are super lovely towards us. "I had an amazing experience at this hotel. Beautiful historic in nature in an excellent location. This building is early 1800 but rooms are fairly modern. Don’t expect a modern $500 a night hotel but for the money it was more than I ever expected. "

"I spent couple of days at this hotel and at the time was happy with the hotel and location was ideal for what we wanted to use it for. I booked through Expedia and on check out I said the hotel should be pad for already, the receptionist said no the money held s only for security and I need to pay. When I went to pay the receptionist tried to charge me 20 euros more then agreed but I didn't notice and put my chip and pin in and paid. He then apologised and gave me back 20 Euros in cash. "Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und das liebevolle Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Rezeptionistin konnte gut Deutsch und konnte mit vielen tollen Tipps weiterhelfen. Die Zimmer wurden nur einmal pro Woche gereinigt, aber auch das Zimmerpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns vorsorglich sehr ausreichend mit Toilettenpapier, Mülltüten und anderem versorgt. Wir waren zur Nebensaison (Anfang Mai) im Hotel und leider war der hoteleigene Pool nicht gefüllt und somit unbenutzbar....

"we stayed at the apartment for one night before catching a ferry the next day for the Aeolian islands. We were welcomed by the staff and quickly shown our apartment. It was a nice room with a steaming hot shower; which felt great after a long day of travel. "It is very noisy at night ( Friday ).The bar next door plays loud music with people drinking in the street until 2am.!!!! Finally they go home at about 3am. It is such a shame because everything else is so good. I can not recommend it for this reason."

"The house was a perfect fit for our family trip to Italy. We enjoyed the location that happened to be centrally located to both family and the city. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean.
