We didn’t want to leave!
We loved this apartment so much. First of all, it had everything we needed: fully equipped kitchenette for snacks & light meals at home, sofa bed big enough for our two giant teenage sons to share comfortably, & charming painted ceilings so we felt surrounded by Rome at all times.
Check-in was quick & easy, & Damiano was fantastic with every contact.
Most importantly, the central location was unbelievable. We could pop out to the Campo de Fiori market or the Piazza Navona Christmas market in just minutes, plus anything farther away like the Colosseum or Vatican were still a straight shot, so it was a breeze to find our way anywhere in town. Our favorite thing way to wind down each evening was to choose a different nearby side street to wander down. We always felt safe & never ran out new things to see, eat, & experience in the neighborhood.
Because of its location, some light sleepers may be sensitive to the street sounds outside, but we loved giving our sons the full city experience (& it’s no worse than anywhere else in the world.)
I usually like to stay different places if I visit a city more than once, but I would happily come back here again & again.
