The apartment itself is quite nice. The salone is beautifully decorated and spacious. The entire apartment is large and on a very nice street. However, there were a plethora of problems, not all of which were resolved. When we arrived we looked for a washer, which had been shown in the pictures of the apartment. The very narrow washer had been removed. The owner did offer to install one in the kitchen, but by then we did not want the disturbance. There was a short in an electric socket in the bedroom, and if you moved a plug the circuit breaker would trip. Pointed this out but the owner just plugged something in without tripping the circuit breaker, and left it. This is something I would have addressed immediately. The recycling rules in Italy are rather stringent, and we were given no information as to what to do with the trash. We did inquire, but the information was fragmentary. A shower nozzle was not working properly, which they fixed. the stopper in a bathroom sink did not pop up (which they tried to fix), and the large floor lamp in the livinng room did not work. It would flicker on then go dark. We did call the management office about this, and they promised the owner would come to recitify it, but he never came after the first visit. The Internet wifi was not good. The apartment did have a repeater, but it did not help. We did speed test and the speed was slow. One oddity: there is only one window in the large bedroom, which is quite small and just below the very high ceiling. In summary, if the problems in this appartment were addressed, it would be a very good place to stay, but the owner and management company needs to take a close look at the various aspects of the apartment and repair as necessary, and provide clear instructions (written) about trash disposal.
