Check-in was a breeze and the car to the airport at the end of our airport was spacious and a great help.

Just around the corner from Piazza Navona and up 4 flights (or take the tiny elevator), this was a charming and quiet apartment. Efficient kitchen, clean bathroom, very friendly staff.
The apartment is lovely. Perfectly situated, walking distance to all the main sights. Lots of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Communication was excellent from the booking process, check in was efficient and everything was clearly explained. Airport transfers were also arranged which were perfect, waiting when we arrived at the airport and when leaving on the day we left. The apartment has everything you would need and was spotless when we arrived, beds were very comfy after long days walking around the city.
Loved location, communication, checkin process. Sweet space. Convenient fridge and laundry. Air conditioning unit made a loud clicking noise which made sleep difficult. Overall very good experience.
Couldn't have picked a better location. The flat was clean and comfortable. AC was nice on a very hot trip. Bathroom a bit small, but not a big problem. Perfect for a small group looking to explore Rome.
This was a perfect spot for our family of four to crash after long days of sightseeing. It's wonderfully located and close to everything. It was clean and easy and while not luxurious, pretty typical of European size and amenities. Only downfalls were bad shower heat/pressure. Would happily stay again.
Nice overall stay at a perfect location near 3 major spots. Bathroom a bit small but everything was clean. Air conditioning worked very well. Payment processes a little difficult but overall, a good experience.
This apartment is very central to everything and a great location. We enjoyed being able to pop in and out between sight seeing. The one drawback was that the bathroom is very dated and very tiny and the shower stall very small. But, the building and the apartment are very European and you most definitely feel like you are in Europe.

Roman Quarters
The apartment is in a great location to all the action and attractions in Rome. We could have not picked a better location. Having a washer was very convenient. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a little tight but we made it work. I rated four overall because the floor was a little dirty and it had a slight musty smell in the 600 year old building. Also, needed a little more time going over things during check-in.
We could not have picked a better place to stay for our three days spent in Rome. Leading up to our stay, the company was very communicative and helpful. It was lovely that Stay in Rome offers a car service that picked us up from the airport and took us to where we were staying. Upon arriving, Adriano was very kind and helpful in settling us into the area. The apartment itself is great for a group of five and features a stunning view outside of the window. The washing machine was a huge plus, too. The bathroom was a little small, but this place was definitely worth it for the location. We managed to see all of the big attractions in Rome without using any public transportation. Being right next to Piazza Navona was awesome for nearby food.
Description and photos are all very accurate. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There is a small elevator that can be used if you choose not to walk up to the fourth floor. On site Concierge was very helpful. Full kitchen with refrigerator made stocking drinks and snacks easy. Air conditioning worked very well while we were there in August. Overall, it was a great place to stay for my wife, my daughter and myself. The one room improvement would be the bathroom. It’s very small, with a shower that needs updating. But we would definitely recommend this apartment for its location and price.

A bit rustic but great location
Pros: Great location. Quiet. Small elevator for those with difficulties with stairs. Air conditioner. Adriano checked us in and was super pleasant to interact with! Good for folks who want no frills.
Cons: The space feels dated and could use renovations. Sewer smell comes from bathroom (likely fixable by simply installing a P-trap to the sink plumbing). The loft stair railing is open and not safe for children or individuals that could fall. The cost doesn't match the value.
Good to know for accessibility: There is a flight of stairs to get to elevator, and one step to enter the bathroom.
Overall: Enjoyed getting to be in the center of the city sights, but the place would likely need upgrades or a price drop for me to stay again.
The location of the property is outstanding. We walked every place. Communication with the management was excellent from before we came until the day we left. Having a driver to pick us up at the airport and take us back was a wonderful convenience. I guess 5 people could stay in the apartment but they would have to spend all of their time in their own space since the common area is small with a sleep sofa and if that is open there is no other place to sit except around the small dining table. We were 3 - mother, daughter and 13 year old granddaughter. We are very small people so the shower was fine but I'm not not sure that a large person could fit comfortably. Make sure to bring your own shampoo and soap since what was given to us was not adequate. For the 3 of us the apartment was nearly perfect.
A few minutes walk to the bridge to watch parrots at sunrise, walk across the street to an incredible piazza with good food options nearby even downstairs in the building the sandwich shop is solid. The small museum next door is amazing, taxi stand is on the same street as the apartment building so you can get anywhere quickly or relax and meander your way around on foot to the forums, national gallery of contemporary art, the Vatican, Jewish ghetto, etc.
The space itself is cozy, for young travelers it is perfect but I can imagine my dad would make a thing of how small the bathroom or elevator is but it’s a historical building with beautiful little view out the windows and enough room for 2 couples or one family if you’re staying out and about exploring the city all day.
Responsive management took care of a smell in the bathroom quickly (old building problems) and stayed communicative through to the end. Check in and check out was simple, it feels magical arriving to the front door after almost 30 hours of travel and we loved our experience.
This was a nightmare!!!! I booked with VRBO and received a confirmation number in March 2024!! When I arrived on my check in date, they had rented my apartment to someone else and had nothing available. I had to wait 4 hours with baggage in the middle of the tourist area waiting for another apartment. They placed me in this back alley apartment on the fifth floor of a narrow staircase which was more expensive than my original booking. The first night, the electrical circuit breaker tripped and the air condiioning did not work. Finally, realizing that all the appliances would trip if the A/C was one, we disconnected the refriderator, microwave and other appliances so we could use the air conditioer!! TRULY RIDICULOUS!!! We were told that the problem was with VRBO and that we had to get our original funds paid to the apartment back from VRBO. So we ended up paying extra for this apartment and it was crap!! In addition to the expense of the apartment, we had to pay extra for the cleaning service to come immediately and prepare the apartment. These people run a scam so do not stay with them. They manage many apartments so be aware. One tip off is that they require a deposit which they state is for any damage and will be refunded. It has not been refunded.
