Take into consideration
We booked a 4 night stay and only lasted one night. The check in people are lovely, however, the cleaners had not come prior to check in so it was dirty. We then left our bags as instructed and walked around only to return with a bag missing. The communication was non existent except to call us a liar. The bag was returned the next day. The building is very old so the power didn’t work well. It kept going off at the meter and it turned off at least 10 times within the first three hours before we left. No aircon or anything with no power. Location is great but a 2 seat couch and 3 bedrooms is all it is (looks retrofitted) Would not recommend if you want stability and aircon.

The Perfect Home Base in Rome
We loved our stay in this apartment near Piazza Navona! Friendly and helpful Adriano kindly offered early check-in and acquainted us with the apartment and area. Some initial paperwork and some extra fees to be aware of at check in. Three comfy bedrooms, two with big beds and one with two singles, were perfect for our family of 4. A fully equipped kitchen, roomy bathroom with washer and dryer, sitting room with sofa and table for 4 made for a perfect home base! Yes, the two front rooms hear the late night revelry from the street but you are in Rome…bring earplugs and a sound machine 😊 The water/dryer were a bit tricky simply because I don’t speak Italian, but worked great. Shower door leaked but I believe is being fixed. We walked everywhere from the apartment: Vatican City, Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Borghese Gallery, Palatine Hill, Aventine Keyhole & beyond. Walked 20,000-27,000 steps daily! Bring comfy shoes! Plenty of places to eat right outside the door and on every charming cobblestoned street. A note for non-walking travel: “FreeNow” is the app to use for booking taxis but be warned they often accept then cancel.

Great location, but incredibly loud and dingy
Apartment is well-located, a block from Navona square, which is great. However, from 9pm to 2 or 3am, it is impossible to sleep in either of the two rooms besides the street, and the back room smells like grease from a restaurant. Does not matter if the windows are closed, it is loud regardless. The curtains are useless and flimsy and do not block the light. Absolutely do not recommend for families or anyone who needs a decent night's sleep. The photos are not really an accurate representation, it is dark and dingy and charmless. The best thing about the place is the location.

This is was the perfect place for easy access to all the tourist spot! Check in was easy! We could walk to everything we wanted to do. It is on a busy strip of Rome so at night it is loud till well after midnight and the garbage comes early. But for a group of friends exploring Rome and loving it up it didn’t bug us.

Fantastic location
We had an amazing time. The property was very central and walking distance to the main sites of Rome. We ate at some of the local restaurants which were superb. We booked transport through the property which was very easy. Would definitely recommend.

The heart of Piazza Navona
5 of us just had a very nice stay here. A few notes. When the reviews say that it’s located in a bustling area, they aren’t kidding. 2 of the 3 bedrooms have windows facing the street, and it gets loud in there. Like, crazy loud. But if you can deal with that (and we did), you’ll have an incredible jumping off point for exploring Rome!

The stairwell was scary - dark and decrepit. I wouldn’t feel safe coming home alone at night. The apartment reeked of smoke AND, despite using the washing machine, we left with all of our belongings reeking of smoke. Many of our items will be tossed upon return home. There was A/C but you couldn’t run them plus the washer, dryer or hair dryer together because doing so would blow the fuse. Location was good but loud. I would not recommend based on smell alone.

Great location
Perfect place to stay. Within walking distance to the Colosseum and the Vatican. The only thing to be aware of is there is music playing at night until 1am or 2am depending on the day. Make sure you pay attention to how the keys work. Once you understand all is well.

Rome Apartment in the neighborhood near Piazza Novella
The apartment was in a very good location and walking distance to everything including taxis/Ubers however it was right above many neighborhood bars and was probably not the place for our family. It was clear on the listing so that’s our error in booking due to the late hours of the restaurants and bars and the very early garbage and recycling pick up. The main bedroom had great AC but the room next to the street has a separate AC unit that could not keep up - the owners were very quick to try to have it fixed but were unable to get it resolved before checkout. The room was unbearable in the July heat and we had to sleep some of our family on the couch. I would also say the laundry washing machine was nice to have but it was on the only bathroom and the smell was horrible. Most front loader machines have that sour smell but this was more than normal. It made the bathroom so hot with no ability to air out and had to keep the door closed due to the smell. The apartment was clean and the host was very nice and communicative.

The apartment was located in a great place. Very conveniently located to everything. The noise level from the local area was not as bad as some of the reviews mentioned. The back bedroom had no outside sound at all. The two front rooms were a little noticeable but did not keep my kids up long. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms but not in the common areas of the apartment. The main circuit breaker to the unit would trip a couple of times every day but fortunately they warned us at check in and showed us how to reset. The owners were great to work with and answered emails quickly leading up to our stay. They even worked with us to check in about an hour earlier. Overall this was a good place to stay.

Amazing location!
Location was great. Good space for the price. Clean. Expect the front 2 bedrooms to be noisy late into the night and again early morning (garbage pick up). These rooms overlook the street that makes this location great.

Amazing Location - Comfortable property
We took a taxi from Termini to the apartment. The location is just off piazza navona and we couldn't have been happier with the location. central to everything. first floor walkup, so it wasn't difficult to get our luggage upstairs. the apartment itself is simple. the bedrooms were all comfortable and my kids did some schoolwork in the living room or hung out on the couch. we didn't make use of the kitchen other than using the fridge, but it had all of the essentials. washer and dryer were great. shower is a little tight for larger adults, but the bathroom was large. the bedrooms that face the street can be very loud due to the bars down on the street turning into some rambunctious "club" music at night, but it did not bother us at all (we were always tired, and my wife brought ear plugs). the noise is the only thing we can really say as a complaint. the host that checked us in (chiara) was pleasant and gave us recommendations and tips. we really loved our stay here, and would book it again. family of 5 with 3 kids. my 11 year old took the back bedroom. mom and dad took the front bedroom, and the 10 and 8 yr old shared the twin beds bedroom. kids didn't complain about the street noise at all, but they are good sleepers.

Great location
This was an excellent location in the heart of the fun of Rome. It is close to major bus stops and you can walk to the Vatican in 20 minutes from this location. If you are just a couple you can sleep in the back room and get a good night’s sleep. However if there are more of you who require to sleep in the front rooms, because it is in the heart of all the fun and very busy with restaurants and bars, you will have to listen to a great deal of noise at night. The place was clean and our host was very friendly. Great place if you are young and want to stay up until two in the morning.

Not as advertised
This apartment is not as advertised. When I asked the rental company for a resolution, and finally just a revision of the description, they accused me of trying to “blackmail” them when I said I will provide an honest review. Make your own conclusions if this is a company you would like to work with. My factual review: The flat is advertised as being good for families and has restaurant street noise that resolves after the dinner hour. Restaurant noise was described as people talking, dishes clanging…. This noise was a live band, with amplifiers, on the street a few doors down. The flat vibrated until 1 or 2 in the morning. We could not carry on a conversation or hear the TV. The one back bedroom was ok, so my family all slept in the same room to have any chance of sleep at night. I know of no family where these are friendly conditions. It wasn’t clear to me in the pictures, but the common room is very small and interior with no light. The sofa faces the dining table- there is no place for conversation. If you are planning on eating a quick breakfast and will head out for the day (and night) this will be fine, but not for families that might want to spend time in the flat. The flat is poorly equipped. It would have been nice to have a sponge or soap for dishes. There was a single wine glass. The sheets had holes and the sofa was ripped and in poor condition. I know listing pictures are designed to be in the best light, but it was a start contrast. Good things- it was clean and the location is convenient for tourist activities. Having a washer and drier was helpful. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms- it could not quite keep up during a heat wave, but did help quite a bit. Overall, if you are a group that plans on staying out late and just using this for sleeping after a night on the town it will suit you well. In my opinion, it is not suitable for families and the listing should be revised.

Beautiful Rome
We were a family of 5, all over age 20! We loved Rome and our stay was a major factor in that. The location was great for restaurants, walking distance to major attractions and a taxi stand. The rooms were perfect for us and although only one large bathroom having an extra sink in one room really helped out. The process to check in was great, they met us promptly and explained everything, management responded timely and were very helpful with directions or suggestions. The only thing, if you are a light sleeper take the back room. It can be a little noisy at the restaurants below, but if you like the entertainment you are in perfect place!! Would definitely recommend!

In the Heart of Rome
My wife and I and our 4 children could not have loved our stay any more. The apartment was clean and simple and had plenty of space for all 6 of us with privacy. The location of this apartment is absolutely unparalleled - we thought we had gone to heaven. It is in the most beautiful, exciting and vibrant part of the city with limitless options for food and drink and everything you could ever care about within walking distance. This was the perfect way to start our long vacation. I wish i was there right now and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Andy

The apartment is very nice and the location is great to be in the heart of things and we felt safe. For young people who stay out most the night - this is a great place. HOWEVER..although the location was fabulous it was entirely TOO LOUD at night to enjoy the apartment. Families with children should avoid. There are bars/restaurants right out the door and under the windows...we were told to expect noise up to 11 pm---When we complained the noise was going on to 2-3am we were then told the local noise ordinance allowed businesses to be quiet after 1am...this didn't happen. The music was such that one person in our party left and got a hotel room. Music did continue to 2:15-3 am each night. We were there Wed-Sunday. The lock getting into the apartment needs to be changed- it is very difficult to get in and lots of patience to open the door is needed.
