If you would like to enjoy seeing the sights of Rome and then relax in a quiet place far from traffic noise, you can choose Casa Fratocchi apartment. Located just a few underground stops away from the most important sights in Rome, the apartment is the annex of a one family house in Rome that lies in a quiet neighbourhood far from the traffic noise of big cities but very near to the metro station of Arco di Travertino with which is very easy to reach the centre of the town. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed (on request we can add another bed) and the other with 2 single beds, one bath with shower and a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, mixer). TV, free WI-FI and air conditioning are available. A table and four chairs under a garden umbrella let you have lunch or dinner outside when the weather is good and let you relax after a long sightseeing of Rome. On request you can park in the courtyard(for a small extra charge).

In the neighbourhood: Parco della Caffarella (Appia Antica Park): from here you can take a pleasant and long walk or ride to the Appia Antica. You can rent bicycles near the park. Parco dell' Antica via Latina contains the tombs of the ancient Roman time with very important stucco and fresco decorations.

A sanctuary in the city
The apartment was very clean, had everything you needed and the host does an excellent job of assisting with anything and makes great offers for local places. The house is secure and even though it is in the center of the city you can’t hear it. After the chaos of Rome it was great to retreat back to this place. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Great low cost accommodation
Very comfortable accommodation in a quiet area, close to metro & good supermarket nearby. Outside eating area & garden were an added bonus. Martina was very helpful & available and had set up an excellent folder of useful local information. We loved Lucy, the dog, so gentle and companionable. Thanks for a lovely stay in Rome.

Martina was a great host, welcomed us in person and the house had a manual for meeting our needs… from using the AC, to where the closest grocery stores were. Their dog Lucy was a lovely addition, she welcomed us cheerfully every time we came home. Transportation is within walking distance and it was a nice quiet street. I would definitely stay there again.

We would highly recommend this fantastic apartment, it is clean, very well kept and equipped and met all our needs for our four night stay in Rome. Great access to the metro, easy to leave the busy Rome central in just a few stops and have such a peaceful place.

Amazing hosts and apartment!

Sehr gut gelegene Wohnung
Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen, hat alles was man braucht sowie einen zubuchbaren Stellplatz im Hof. Die Metro, der Bus, ein Supermarkt und weiteres sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Vermieterin ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Casa von Martina und Ihrer Familie mit der tollen Wachhündin war uns ein entspanntes Kleinod im Herzen Roms, was dank seiner ruhigen Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zur U-Bahn genau der richtige Ausgleich nach dem Tag in einer lauten und historisch vollgepackten Stadt wie Rom war. Der nächste Supermarkt war auch super fußläufig zu erreichen. Alles in allem ein toller Trip zurück in die Vergangenheit.👍

Ruhige Wohnung, die über die Metro idealen Zugang nach Rom zulässt.
Das wichtigste zunächst, Martina ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die um das wohl Ihrer Gäste äußerst bemüht ist. Die Wohnung selbst ist für zwei Personen ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ruhig. Ein angeschlossener Garten, erlaubt abendliche Entspannung. Für den täglichen Bedarf sind Geschäfte in der Nähe. Der Weg zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms ist mit der ebenfalls in Fussnähe gelegenen Metrostation sehr schnell und bequem. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft.

Tolle Basis für Ausflüge nach Rom
Die tolle Wohnung liegt ideal. Dank der U-Bahn ist man in nur 20 Minuten im Zentrum. Direkt in der Nachbarschaft ist ein klasse Supermarkt und auch ein Café für das Frühstück. Martina und ihre Familie wohnen auf dem gleichen Grundstück und sind für Fragen eine wertvolle Hilfe. Alles ist sehr sauber und wir bekamen sogar nach 2 Tagen frische Handtücher. Wenn wir nochmal nach Rom fahren werden wir wieder diese Wohnung buchen.

Un havre de paix près de Rome
La location est très agréable et fonctionnelle avec un jardin qui est un véritable havre de paix. Elle est située à quelques kilomètres des principaux sites historiques. Martina vous accueille chaleureusement et sera vous conseiller. Nous recommandons vivement cette location pour ceux qui recherche un logement au calme à quelques encablures de l'effervescence de Rome.

Unterkunft wie beschrieben
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und die Lage ist günstig, um Rom anzuschauen. Der Garten ist sehr schön und ruhig. Die Unterkunft ist größer gewesen, als wir gedacht haben. Parkgebühren kommen noch zusätzlich hinzu, wenn man den Stellplatz im Hof nutzen möchte.

Einfach perfekt
Das Haus liegt mitten in Rom 3 Minuten zur Metro. Absolut ruhig. 10Minuten per Rad zur Via Appia Antica. Es ist alles was man für eine Städtereise benötigt in der Unterkunft und man kann im Garten sitzen. Mückenschutz an allen Fenstern. Super sauber! Und die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Gite confortable au calme proche ligne métro pour aller au centre
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de nous retrouver au calme dans ce logement avec un jardin après de longues marches pour visiter Rome qui était à 15 mn en métro sur la ligne principale A. Rien ne manquait dans le logement et la literie très confortable. Nous n'étions pas loin de l'ancienne voie romain (via appia) qui est dans un très grand parc très agréable. Martina, notre hôtesse a toujours été très agréable et prête à nous aider quand nous en avions besoin. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir loger ici si nous revenons dans cette ville maqique.

Località tranquilla e strategica
Accoglienza impeccabile: abbiamo fatto il check-in dopo le 21 e abbiamo comunque ricevuto tutte le informazioni necessarie, sulla casa e sui servizi della zona. A circa 300 m c'è una fermata della metro (linea A) oppure il capolinea di diversi autobus. Nella stessa zona anche un supermercato e diversi punti di ristorazione. L'appartamento corrisponde alla descrizione (anche se alcune foto sono datate, precedenti ad una evidente ristrutturazione). Eravamo due adulti e due ragazzi: spazio sufficiente per tutti, anche perché abbiamo trascorso quattro giornate in giro per la capitale. L'ambiente è risultato leggermente umido, ma bastava aprire le finestre (tutte dotate di zanzariera) per arieggiare in fretta. Unico inconveniente della vacanza, subito annunciato dalla proprietaria: un imprevisto all'impianto solare versava liquido antigelo nell'impianto dell'acqua calda, quindi non utilizzabile tranquillamente (no cucinare, bere, lavare i denti). Un saluto anche alla simpaticissima cagnolina Lucy, che ci accompagnava in giardino ad ogni uscita e ci accoglieva al rientro la sera.

L'appartement est très propre et complètement équipé. Martina était très attentive à notre bien-être. L'emplacement permet d'être dans un quartier très calme, tout en étant proche du centre de Rome. Métro et supermarché à proximité. Fortement conseillé !

キッチンの水道の蛇口とトイレの便器と暖房器が壊れてた上、シャワーが、水浴びしてるくらいの温度で、オーナーに改善を求めたが変わらず、静かに眠る事が出来れば、いいかと諦めたが、夜中まで子供が庭で友達と騒いでいて眠れなかった。宿泊する人への配慮が全く出来ていない。

Ottima posizione in zona tranquilla.
Appartamento in comoda posizione per raggiungere il centro città, sia con in mezzi pubblici, sia con le biciclette, con possibilità di lasciarle in tutta sicurezza in giardino. Supermercato che si può raggiungere anche a piedi, utile la lavatrice per chi dovesse soggiornare per almeno una settimana come noi in quattro persone, l 'appartamento dispone di aria condizionata utile per chi soggiorna nei mesi caldi. Cucina per noi quattro un po piccola, con mobilia un po' datata, consiglierei al proprietario una ristrutturazione generale, ma nel complesso un buon appartamento.
