Lovely Trastevere - An Authentic Experience ..

Lovely for 2, comfortable for 4 (on demand), in a quiet street in the heart of Trastevere for an authentic experience. Cozy and characteristic apartment is bright and elegant and has been furnished with distinctive refinements. Modern design, functional, stone fireplace and beam ceiling maintained to create a charming and warm atmosphere. Authorized by City of Rome Tourism Office. Walking distances: Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere San Pietro Campo de Fiori Piazza Navona.

It is located on the second floor of an ancient building. It comprises a large living room with a brand new, very comfortable and standard sofa bed for 2 person easy to open with one hand to be equipped on demand (size of the mattress Width 160 cm / 63 inch.- Lenght 195 cm / 76inch. - Height 18 cm / 7.4 inch.), A fully-equipped kitchenette and a double bedroom with a very comfortable and brand new bed, en-suite bathroom. Air conditioning in the bedroom and in the living room. Free WI-FI broadband available 24 H up to 20 mbps. The apartment offers a wonderful location on a very quiet street of Trastevere and easy access to the local amenities.

In less than 1 minute you find yourself in the middle of all that magic .. !!

Vicolo del Leopardo retains some characteristic aspects and has the atmosphere of a small village. ..Some historical trasteverin family still resists. It is one of the few streets of Rome, if not the only, where someone still hangs washing side to side. The cloths are still hung between a building and another and it is one of the most photographed street in Trastevere.

Very few cars circulate. The road is filled with large vessels with lush plants, arranged by the inhabitants. You can also reach most of the main touristic sites walking.

Great home base in Rome
We enjoyed our stay and loved the neighborhood. You will be putting in some steps to see the main sites. We walked 9+ miles each day. Coming home to Lovely Trastevere at the end of the day was welcoming. The district is lively with lots of dinner options minutes away, but the street is a quiet oasis. Both Andrea and Lucia were helpful and kind hosts. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations and arrangement of airport transport the morning we left. Wonderful place to stay in Rome! Recommend and would stay again.

Great apartment in the perfect location
Communication with the host was outstanding leading up to check in. Lucia offered to book a car for us from the airport to the hotel and it showed up right on time and charged the standard airport rate. The apartment was clean and in a great location in the middle of the Trastevere neighborhood and close to many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location
This was a good unit and location great. However there was quite a bit of mould in the shower which just needed some bleach to clean. The steps are to be considered especially if you are in the later part of life.

Our apartment in the beautiful Trastevere section of Rome was as lovely as the description. Our Hostess Lucia was more than accommodating. Fantastic neighborhood!
Fabulous little apartment, perfect for us and our 2 teenagers. Not knowing a lot about the city we really lucked out with this one. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in the city, the neighborhood of Travestere is super charming, authentic, lots of great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The apartment was clean, nice bedding, and well equipped with everything we needed. The check-in was smooth and easy, we definitely recommend staying here!

The apartment was located in a busy and vibrant area of Trastevere but on a quiet tiny street with no traffic noise. The heating was efficient and the apartment was warm, important as this was January. Check in was quick and easy and the owner and assistant were pleasant to deal with. The photos online need to be updated and the issue of mould needs to be addressed, especially in the shower.

Why Rent This Apartment?
Why rent this apartment? Three reasons. 1-over 100 restaurants and every food menu you could imagine within a one to ten minute walk-a foodies delight. 2-the major Roma tourist sites are within 10-30 minutes walking distance or a short cab ride. Great location. 3-simple and pretty apartment with comfortable beds , air conditioning, a lovely Italian environment-so cozy! Would definitely recommend. Host and assistant were wonderful!

The neighborhood is wonderful and the apartment is very conveniently located to great restaurants! everything within walking distance- pantheon 15 min walk colosseum 25 min walk we did do a lot of walking but we don't mind:) The apartment is very clean- could use an updated coffee maker, but otherwise great stay!

This property is in a beautiful,quiet, convenient part of Trastevere. There are many restaurants within walking distance and I enjoyed walking to the open market every day. The bus is close for public transportation. FYI, European numbering is different and the apartment is on the 3rd floor.

A great location if you want to be around the corner from the best outdoor dining scene in Rome. Just far enough away to be quiet though. Shower, bed and living area were very nice. Convenient and comfortable enough
This apartment is well situated and was just right for us to help our daughter pack up from her semester in Rome. Clean and comfortable enough in a quiet building. Lucia was a delight and made check in very easy, and our driver from the airport was friendly, prompt, and professional. A bit of a lag in communication with host a week prior to departure had me nervous about our reservation, but all was more than well in the end. Trastevere Apartment
This charming apartment in Trastevere was a wonderful choice for our visit to Rome. We loved the neighborhood - a lively area with lots of restaurant choices - and truly appreciated that the apartment itself was just far enough away from the action to be quiet and peaceful! Our host Andrea and his assistant Lucia were very responsive and helpful. They arranged our transportation from the airport when we arrived and to the train station when we departed. Location, location, location
Lovely Trastavere was a wonderful find. It was immaculately clean. Really good shower. Andrea was an incredibly responsive and responsible host. And as for its location, as you literally walk around the corner, Trastavere comes alive in all its grandeur. The area has innumerable restaurants, bars and fun places to explore. The overwhelming majority of people were locals, young and not-so-young. Very few tourists which only made the experience more authentic. Lovely Trastavere is a solid choice.

Wonderful apartment in a wonderful location
We truly enjoyed our stay at this apartment! All communication was great before, during and after our stay. I really appreciated their offer to arrange for a driver for our airport arrival and departure. It was very convenient, and cheaper than a taxi for four people with four large suitcases. Trastevere is such a fun place - lots of nightlife at the nearby outdoor cafes, but the street where the apartment is was very quiet. We were able to walk everywhere - the Colosseum, Vatican, Pantheon, Jewish Quarter, etc. We put in about 10 miles a day, but it was totally doable.

Quiet retreat from tourist crowds
Perfect location on a very quiet attractive block on the edge of Trastevere. Within easy walking distance (1/2 hr) of all the major tourist sites on the other side of the river as well as the Vatican. It was a pleasure to come back to the apartment across the Sisto bridge every evening and enjoy the street music in the Piaza Trilussa and street life of Trastevere. The living room overlooks the street and is quite spacious and very bright. The bedroom window opens on to a small interior light well and so has limited daylight. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. The living room could benefit from a new couch and a coffee table and there is no longer a rug shown in some of the photos, but these were minor issues.

Lovely quiet neighborhood apartment
We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment, it was the perfect location for us. It is very convenient to everything Trastevere offers, but it is two blocks away from all of the bustle. It’s a quaint neighborhood tucked away in a quieter world, but very close to all the restaurants and the great little food market at Cosimato. Andrea was very easy to communicate with, always with a quick response to any questions. Lucia welcomed us with great enthusiasm and made it clear to us that she was available to help, checking in several times to make sure everything was OK; you could not ask for more support.

One of the nicest, cleanest, best-located vacation rental properties we've ever stayed at.
We live in Los Angeles, and have stayed in VRBO properties across the U.S. and France. Most have been quite good, and a few have been excellent. This property in Trastevere was excellent. Extremely clean, a very comfortable Queen bed, small but very nice bathroom, nice and roomy living area. We didn't use (or need) the kitchen except for the fridge, but it appeared to have everything one would need. Perhaps the best part of the property is its location. Probably thirty very good to excellent restaurants within four blocks of the building - anything you could want is there in Trastevere, and if you want to walk, places like the Vatican, the Spanish Steps and other places you'll want to see in Rome are accessible from this property. Definitely use Andrea's offer of his driving service to pick you up at the Rome Airport - best $45 Euros you'll spend on your trip. We asked for the service back to the Airport and did use it - fantastic. Do be aware that the unit is two floors up from the ground floor, with no elevator, but that will be the smallest amount of walking among the dozens of miles you'll walk in Rome, so don't worry about it. We've already given the property info to friends for upcoming trips, and we would go back and stay at this property in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed the authentic look and feel of the apartment and the location on a tiny street with a real neighborhood feel. The communication with host was excellent. We were met at the apartment and oriented to it and the area. So glad we didn’t stay in the downtown city center which was very crowded.
