Desk clerks were awesome! Location was great for sightseeing, shopping & restaurants. We loved the outdoor area though the bar was closed during our stay. Nice breakfast & brewed coffee!

the room was nothing like the pictures. The entry door of our room couldn't close so after many big pushes we managed to close it. the walls were dirty and the bathroom was not in a good shape. we asked to switch to a different room but they didn't gave us a new one. Also, my in laws stayed in a different room and they had also not a nice experience. their room had a terrible smell so they slept with the windows totally open even though was raining. not a pleasant experience!!

Not a **** stars hotel ...perhaps * or **
Needs new towels, blankets, paint .... needs new carpet and CLEANING !!! The rooms smell very bad .... needs total remodeling ! The only **** stars is the people that work in the hotel ! Look at the pictures and judge yourself....... a block from this hotel there are 2 on Via Nazionale that are *** stars and look much nicer than this one ......

My husband and I spent three nights here and found it a pleasant stay and the staff were very accomodating. The hotel is well positioned. Although it is a little tired, it is clean and comfortable. We would certainly stay here again.

The location is excellent. There is a very pleasant courtyard in the middle. Decent breakfast. The rooms were quiet, which made a world of difference after arriving totally jetlagged. The shame was the near unusable WiFi, which for the price felt a bit annoying. Otherwise, no regrets.

Does not deserve the four stars
This hotel room I was given at check-in had a cracked window to the balcony door. Therefore i changed rooms and the one I was given was very dull and too big for the effort the hotel wanted to put in the decoration. The fabrics of the two armchairs were very torn up, there were no carpets just tiles everywhere. No reading lamps for the so-called desk in the room. The surge box made a lot of ringing noise during the entire stay and there was no room to change to because the hotel was full. The heating was very noisy so it was impossible to sleep even with the lowest speed. The Darkness of the room was due to the bad proportion between the size of the space and the quantity of windows. One small window on a secluded end cannot enlighten the room in anyway. Very stuffy place. This small window was facing a courtyard that had a lot machine noises, hotel staff and other guests talking and smoking. The echo does not help. When I complained about this to the reception, they said many people are ill-mannered - I replied to them, its your responsibility to supervise behaviors and limit them when they are violating boindaries and etiquette. The electric lighting was of bad taste and the walls were void of any artwork or something to give life to the room. Otherwise, as most reviews say but it does not matter too much, the staff is relatively amiable and kind. The location of the hotel is what made me book it but when I disvovered the real colors I understood why the price was low.

Rooms facing Quattro Fontaine are very loud if the windows are open. We had to keep the windows open because the air conditioning was not working in December. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was the same every day, but very good. The loud room and the fact that the toilet needed to be flushed several times in order to stop it from running were my only complaints. I would’ve rated the hotel 4 stars if it weren’t for those annoyances.

The room was large and nice (a reason we booked it) and the hotel is quite charming, if a little tired. Unfortunately, the major downside was totally unworkable wi-fi (none of our 6 devices could get a reasonable signal for more than a few minutes). The staff were not helpful at all in resolving the problem. We chose it for it's position (which is convenient) for our last night stay in Italy after a 2 month visit. In all respects other than the wi-fi, it was up to expectations.

Over priced
Over all it wasn't a bad experience but my expectations for the price I paid and for 4* it didn't meet my standards. However I guess you pay for the location because its conveniently located close to all the attractions and the train terminal. The breakfast wasn't great just the usual croissants, boiled eggs. I was disappointed without a kettle in the room to make a cuppa when needed. Would I stay again is a question mark?
