A legendary stay. We had to book a last minute hotel in Rome because our plans changed, we could not have asked for a better hotel than the Amalfi. From the moment we arrived they treated us like returning regulars. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The decor is colorful and historic, the building immaculately clean and the staff were all top of the class. Thank you so much for the amazing stay.

Very expensive but I guess that’s normal for a good central location with reasonable quality. Room pretty small - bathroom too, though bed was comfy and shower good. Also there was a kettle and selection of free teas/ coffee in the room. Did not pay for the extra drinks package and didn’t miss anything there. Breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice. Noted that bar prices were not extortionate though didn’t use it. The receptionist’s recommendation of a nearby restaurant for dinner was very good.

We loved this place. The Monti neighborhood was such an awesome place to have as a home base in Rome and this hotel was perfect for us. We even though it was just my wife and I, we stayed in the “family room” which gave us an extra half room and a balcony overlooking the Basilica of St. Mary, which was gorgeous. I would recommend having that extra room if you tend to pack heavy. The staff of the hotel was absolutely amazing! On top of everything else they did for us, they also helped us handle a medical emergency when we spoke essentially no Italian and made sure that we were taken care of. Five stars isn’t enough.

Everything was fantastic. Very very friendly staff and amazing hospitality. The rooms are small but cozy and everything is there. It's very close to the train station which makes it very easy for us to go around Rome. We loved our stay and would go there again next time.

The hotel was great, they had everything I needed, even a beautiful terrace/rooftop, room had good space, nice air conditioning and elevator. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful! Rooftop was quaint overlooking the Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore but no bar service or music, bar pretty kuch non existent but you could by a bottle of wine or glass of Barolo or Barbera private label if it suited you. Location was about a 30 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, and 45 minutes to the Pantheon. We liked that Milano cafe’ was a stones throw away for cappucino’s, pastries and pizza!
