NO WATER!! OLD FIXTURES, WHEN WATER COMES WITH A TRICKLE YOU CAN BARELY SHOWER, NO HOT WATER, WILL CHARGE FOR BREAKFAST, TORN DRAPES, DIRTY ROOMS, FILTHY PLACE AND WE ARE SUPRISED THAT THE CITY LETS THIS PLACE OPERATE!! It’s definitely NOT a 4 star hotel, NO PARKING, WiFi only works in the lobby area!! Crazy worst experience ever!! I travel a lot and this is not even worth a 1 star

I will never go back to this place. It was such a horrible experience. Staff are not helpful and friendly. No good customer service. Definitely not a place to feel comfortable.

The hotel was a little out of the way, Coates in what appeared to be a middle class residential section of Rome. It was hard to get Uber and it wasn’t a metro station. My room had lukewarm water for the shower and when I asked to h hangs rooms, I was told that someone would come within the hour to fix it. They never came. Also there was mold in the shower grout/tile as well.

The blonde old crone who checks in was awful and accused me of smoking in my room (UNTRUE) when I complained about the AC. She then offered me another room when I showed her my nicotine patch (she had seem me smoking outside earlier). The AC made noise but no cooling or fan detected. The other staff were extremely nice. The bathroom was a marble death trap with no grab bars. I didn't plan well when I booked this hotel; it's WAY far on the edge of Rome. If you want isolation and it isn't HOT, it's fine. Again, the desk staff were extremely nice and the lobby was well cooled. Don't be fooled by that.

This place is a joke , old hotel in terribly need of improvement . You can rate it 2 star if you feel generous but no . Better sleep on the street honestly or pay 30 , 40 extra euros and get a decent hotel . Good location but that's all . Everything is in bad shape ....walls are coming apart , mattress with springs coming out , dripping water and the worst of all in our room was the noise the phone was making every time the neighbors were flashing the toilet

Some investment could transform this hotel to what was its apparent former grandeur however, it has become rather rundown, shabby and quite frankly poorly maintained and dirty. We had to change rooms as my son had been bitten all over his legs in bed on the first night. The air con blew out dust causing us all some breathing difficulties and so remained off most of the time. On another day my son and wife became trapped in the room as the door handle mechanism was faulty. The auxiliary staff seemed overworked and tired and some of the reception staff seemed disinterested and bored with the exception of one who was on duty in the morning and was pleasant enough. The final straw came on the final day just as we were about to leave; whilst waiting with our baggage in reception, one of our suitcases fell into a plinth with a pottery bust on top, breaking said bust. Aghast at this, we were very apologetic. The receptionist said he would have to phone his manager and returned to inform us we would have to pay 100 Euro's. When I informed him we had no cash and offered him a card payment, he instructed me to go to a ATM and withdraw the cash. As we were about to be picked up to return to the airport and still embarrassed by the incident, I naively obliged. It was only later I realised they would have been insured and I had been hasty in paying the money. Rome is an incredible and beautiful destination, the hotel and air travel rather spoiled the rest of the experience.

The terrace view was amazing but the rest was average to below average. My room had little bugs on the ceiling, they did not leave soap, shampoo or bathroom tissue on a daily basis. The phone in the room didn’t work. The blow dryer in the room broke the second day I was there and even though I told the front desk, it was never replaced. The bidet has a horrible water leak. There was no closet. There were no vending machines or ice anywhere on property. It was far from any restaurants or cafes to eat or somewhere to buy food. Hotel has a dining area but only breakfast was served. There was no help with luggage. It was not worth a 3.5 star rating like it said on Travelocity.

The pictures look great, and although it is impressive at first glance, look closer and it’s a shabby mess. The concierge seem to hate their job and when I mentioned that the fridge in my room was broken an apology was all I got, nothing was fixed. If a broken fridge was the only thing wrong then that’d be fine, but the aircon was broken and the shower rail came off in my hand hands. All around the hotel are peeling wallpaper, grubby paintwork, loose door handles and dangling curtains. On our second night there was a power cut followed by a really quite spectacular concert/fireworks display at midnight and beyond. It seems that the hotel is next to some kind of venue as the next night was the same. Sleeping was impossible. On a positive note, the waitress in the breakfast room was nice and helpful, the breakfast was pleasant, although the water offered was warm and from a shared bottle. Really, it all comes down to the fact that it’s cheap. If you’re looking for that then these little problems will be acceptable.

It's a bit out of the way, and transit being not so great in Rome, it takes some time each day to get to the interesting stuff. Otherwise it's pretty good, but the little details make it hard to consider it a 4 star hotel.

I loved the beautiful old style building. The way it was decorated, very unique. The area of Rome was so different than being right in the city. Lovely to see big trees and the gardens. Not too far by bus. Cute little cafes nearby for a drink or lunch.

Horrible “hotel”
Horrendous! Never stayed in such a dirty and un hygienic hotel in my life! The first room we were put in you looked in the mirror and you couldn’t see yourself because of the amount of dust that was in there! Do yourself a favour and don’t go there. Breakfast was rubbish basically nothing out at all.
