Quirky apartment well located in Rome
Silvia is a fantastic host and this apartment is well located a short walk from both a metro station and also not far from Roma Termini. It's also in a quiet neighbourhood with good restaurants and within walking distance of the Colloseum. We had some slight issues with the shower (temperamental going from very hot to cold), we couldn't seem to get the WiFi options working for us, but other than that we had a great stay

Exceptional Host and Prime Location!"
I had an amazing stay here! Silvia was incredibly welcoming, helpful and just so kind from our arrival to our departure. Communication and host was 10 stars! The loft room was so cute and great to relax in after walking miles a day. The location is perfect—within walking distance to all the major sites and nestled in a vibrant neighborhood with fantastic food options just down the street. I loved it so much that I'm already planning to book for friends next year! Highly recommend!

the location is amazing!!!
The host, Silvia, was awesome and friendly. We loved the location, easy walk to great sites. The European showers are a bit small, but I am 6'4", and their thoughts on hot water showers are a bit different than ours :-) The place was fantastic!!

Group of girls had the best time and absolutely loved this property. We felt super safe in the area and in the room itself and found we had plenty of space and amenities to be incredibly comfortable during our stay. The King sized bed, well-stocked kitchenette, and easy to use espresso machine, were all unexpected, but fantastic pluses. The host was also accommodating, easy to communicate with, and so kind to our group. I would recommend this room always and hope to stay here again myself.

Fantastic neighborhood
I was disappointed with the property. I waited in the rain for 35 minutes before the host showed up to let me in. the property was not well-maintained. Their were broken light fixtures and things were a bit rundown. The mattress was a foam mattress that was really worn out and it had an indentation on the left side and I had to sleep on the right to get a good nights sleep. It was not a place I looked forward to coming back to every night. The neighborhood is spectacular. That is why I chose this unit, to be in Monti.

Perfect location and wonderful host
This is an ideal location and a very homey field. Great restaurants surround the apartment as well. Felt very local. Yet only a short walk to the main attractions of ancient Rome.

Great location at the center of Rome
We were able to walk with our roll bags from the train station and easily find the apartment. Sylvia was helpful in every way. We arrived early after our overnight flight and Sylvia graciously allowed us to store our bags so we could walk around and enjoy some lunch. We walked everywhere we wanted to go in Rome. The Monti neighborhood is lively and fun!

Awesome Place
Sylvia was great. We really enjoyed our stay. We were close enough to walk to so many of the iconic landmarks but far enough away to have some quiet streets. Sylvia is onsite every day for questions & will even do some laundry if needed. She helped us with a taxi one day. We ate at several nice restaurants and would stay here again if we ever come back to Rome.

The listing is not AT ALL as described. It shows a bright, sunny, nice decorated and clean property. What I found was a dull, dark, doggy and unclean property. The sheets on the bed had stains. The bathroom was not clean. The toilet bowl had dry pee drops all over and it stank. It hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived, it had a strong smell and I had to clean it with dishwasher soap before using it (there was no other cleaning products in the apartment). It made me question the overall cleanliness of the place. Coffee cabinet’s doors where broken. The couch you see in the photo? Stained and covered with a dirty blanket. In short, the place was not suitable and I was not at ease to sleep there with my child. We had to leave the place and find a hotel which obviously cost me a fortune. The attitude of Sylvia was bad as well, it seemed like we were annoying her when we arrived. She was on her phone and distracted, barely bothered to hold the door open for us to enter our suitcases. She said she was always available during the day but when we went to see her (her office is in the same building) her doors were closed and she didn’t bother to answer the door. Also, the little outdoor section, it is used as a smoking section. Area was dirty with ashtrays. This ruined our arrival in Rome. I am extremely unsatisfied with this booking, the listing is misleading, a fraud.

Great location in Rome
Great central location in Rome. Easy to walk to nearby attractions - Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and also close to the metro (Cavour station) to get to further away locations (Vatican). Very helpful host. She and her husband met us for checkin to explain everything. She also offered to do our laundry for us (from posting thought the washer/dryer was in the room) so worked out for us not to have to worry about laundry. She was also helpful pre-stay by making a couple restaurant reservations for us.

Great Area Average Flat
We were able to walk all over Rome and see the most incredible ruins and sights, excellent location. Fatmorganas gelato was 3 minutes away -YUM ! Don’t let the neighborhood scare you upon first sight; it was absolutely safe. The trek from the train station was hot and at first seemed unsafe; however, after exploring for three days we realized all of Rome was sort of grimy yet very safe. The apt had potential but was also run down compared to other VRBOs. The wifi was persnickety, and too many dusty corners for me made it 3 stars. The host was kind enough to offer to wash laundry, but we did expect to be able to do our own -it felt a bit awkward. Daughter said the hide-a-away was very comfortable.

Quaint, quiet walk to everything
Silvia was a wonderful hostess accomodating a rushed flip after our early arrival. The apt was cute and functional, close to everything Monti offers and many main attractions. Our 4 nights there we walked about 25 miles and rented vespas to see much more of Roma. Highly reccomend. Tony and Gina D.

Very disappointed
The location of the apartment was great and the owner was very friendly but the apartment was very small for 4 people and the sofa bed was broken and squeaked loudly every time you moved. Aside from the 2 seater couch there was no other lounge chairs just 4 metal outside chairs. Needs a major refurbishment. Shower was in bath with a really high step. Unfortunately would not recommend for 4 people and even two people would struggle to be comfortable.

Wonderful, romantic flat in the heart of Rome
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The flat is close to everything, only an 11 minute walk to the coliseum, and yet it was quiet and peaceful while we slept. Thank you, I hope we have the chance to stay here again!

Wonderful stay
We had a great stay at Silvia’s property. We ended up with a different room than booked but it was very spacious and clean. The location the property was great for accessing monuments. The host was very responsive. Would recommend / return. We had a great stay!

We were able to check in early which was nice. It was 30 minutes max. Walking distance to everything but the Vatican. Talk slowly with your check in person so they can understand you. If not use translation. She has a place for you to store your bags if needed!

Spectacular location
Our 12 year old son was very excited to see the Coliseum and we were within a 5-10 minute walk. Lots of great cafes and places to eat nearby. Only con for us was the air conditioning couldn’t keep up with the heat while we were there.

The location was excellent as the Monti area has a number of nice restaurants and a plaza where drinks are served and locals congregate. Walking distance to a number of sites including the Coliseum.
