Cute italia villa

Silvia was very pleasant during our whole stay. It was exactly what we were looking for with an authentic Italian residence. Close but far enough away from all the touristy places. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Quirky apartment well located in Rome

Silvia is a fantastic host and this apartment is well located a short walk from both a metro station and also not far from Roma Termini. It's also in a quiet neighbourhood with good restaurants and within walking distance of the Colloseum. We had some slight issues with the shower (temperamental going from very hot to cold), we couldn't seem to get the WiFi options working for us, but other than that we had a great stay

Quaint, quiet walk to everything

Silvia was a wonderful hostess accomodating a rushed flip after our early arrival. The apt was cute and functional, close to everything Monti offers and many main attractions. Our 4 nights there we walked about 25 miles and rented vespas to see much more of Roma. Highly reccomend. Tony and Gina D.

Apartment was nice and good location for attractions. Disappointed by a significant amount of ants crawling on the floor and host was rude and sarcastic when I addressed the problem with her.

Wonderful Place

This apartment was perfect for me and my wife. I highly recommend it to any couples enjoy adventures, but still desire to feel comfortable when traveling to a new place. It is a short half mile walk from the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. The area is very safe and friendly to tourists as well as having multiple shops and restaurants with employees that speak multiple languages in case you’re feeling less than confident with your Italian. The owner Sylvia is absolutely charming and lovely. She is a very gracious host and went out of her way to make our stay memorable. The ad description of the apartment was very accurate in what was included. We could not have chosen a better place to stay.

Great Area Average Flat

We were able to walk all over Rome and see the most incredible ruins and sights, excellent location. Fatmorganas gelato was 3 minutes away -YUM ! Don’t let the neighborhood scare you upon first sight; it was absolutely safe. The trek from the train station was hot and at first seemed unsafe; however, after exploring for three days we realized all of Rome was sort of grimy yet very safe. The apt had potential but was also run down compared to other VRBOs. The wifi was persnickety, and too many dusty corners for me made it 3 stars. The host was kind enough to offer to wash laundry, but we did expect to be able to do our own -it felt a bit awkward. Daughter said the hide-a-away was very comfortable.

nice apartment but missing some important things and communication

The check in experience was difficult as someone other than the host was there to check us in, the other guests arrived before me and were given keys to a different apartment which was rented by someone else. We ended up resolving this but there were safety concerns as this could've led to an uncomfortable experience. The apartment does not have any working WiFi even though it was listed three times on the amenities for this apartment. The shower was not very clean when we checked in and there was half eaten food in the fridge. The apartment was freezing at night and there were not blankets on the bed, the host had to come and find blankets in the apartment for us. The location was very nice and convenient for waking around, lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. Overall the place was fine, but I wouldn't stay here again due to the many inconveniences we faced on our vacation.

Awesome property in best location

We only stayed in Rome one night before our flight early the next morning but we wish we would have stayed at this place longer. The location cannot be beat! Easy walk to Colosseum and restaurants/bars/gelato! Parking a bit tricky but there are two parking garages within minutes of walking distance to the property. Apartment is very clean and very roomy for three of us (one adult plus two teenagers). Has a nice courtyard with outdoor seating. Loved the espresso machine. Overall awesome place

Points forts: emplacement, communication, arrivéePoints faibles: douche, propreté, exactitude de l’annonceCondo bien situé mais impossible de prendre une douche. 5 nuits, 3 personnes, eau de douche soit brulante ou glaciale, JAMAIS d’eau tiède, gros problème de plomberie. Le condo est beaucoup plus beau sur la photo, un peu décevant. Plancher revêtement céramique à l’aspect sale, un peu de moisissure dans la salle de bain. Pas de laveuse et très peu d’espace de rangement.Télévision ne fonctionne pas et plusieurs fixtures de lampes brisées.

We couldn’t have wished for more! Perfect location and host, Silvia and Lapo could not do enough to make our stay perfect. You really are immersed in Roman life and feel like a local. The apartment is within walking distance of all the major sights and some wonderful restaurants and shops. Can’t recommend enough. See you again soon!

Beautiful Neighborhood, property needs improvement

We stayed two nights in Silvia’s unit. Here are our thoughts:PROS-Beautiful property with a lot of history that the host shared with us. -The host was willing to be flexible with check out time-Very convenient location in Rome, very walkable with a lot of great restaurants and shops nearby-The host was very easy to communicate with after check in and solved our wifi problem once we brought up the issue CONS-The bathroom was generally unclean, with mold in and around the shower -The wifi was not working until our second morning- the dishes were not clean in the cupboard, but supplies were available to clean them yourself. -We were not staying in the unit that we have reserved, and while the unit she upgraded to was beautiful, there was not a notification beforehand that the unit we booked would not be available upon our arrival -We had specified a check in time prior to arrival and we had to wait 45 minutes outside the property for the host to arrive to let us in due to extenuating circumstances (which we do understand). However, she made no alternative arrangements and did not communicate her ETA despite insisting we wait for her. -As the host was showing us the way to our unit, she made unsavory comments regarding race/ ethnicity after an encounter with another person in the unit. While our trip to Rome was brief, we don’t have any regrets about booking a unit in this neighborhood. It provided great access to many tourist destinations while still being quiet.

Congelados y sin wi fi

Nos alojamos 3 noches durante febrero del 2025, 4 personas. Para ingresar al departamento, tuvimos que esperar 20 minutos en la puerta, habiéndole avisado con antelación que estabamos llegando.El departamento estaba en una excelente ubicación, sin embargo, no contaba con los servicios esenciales para un viajero. No tuvimos wi fi durante toda la estadía y lo que dice "heating" consistía en una estufa eléctrica, no calefacción, y un aire acondicionado que agobiaba el entrepiso y nunca llegaba a quienes dormían en la planta baja. No dormíamos más de 3 horas debido a esta situación. El día que llegamos, notamos muy frío el ambiente, nos extrañó que no lo hayan templado sabiendo de nuestra llegada, le dimos tiempo, pero nada cambió.Respecto al wi fi, le avisamos a la anfitriona que no funcionaba, y su solución fue que vayamos al patio al lado del router.Este alojamiento empañó nuestra estadía en esta hermosa ciudad. No nos sentimos para nada cómodos, no veíamos la hora de irnos, no lo recomiendo.
