We enjoyed our stay at Charming Roma. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Good place to stay as walking distance for sight seeing. The property was nice and clean and looked like it had been recently refurbished.

Chic small clean comfortable modern guest house with 6 rooms and small terrace where you could have the continental breakfast provided in your rooms with mini bar having fresh fruit, yoghurts, orange juices, water alongside tea and coffee and fresh croissant of your choice . Close to ottaviano metro / Vatican area and nice trattorias nearby . Don’t expect a hotel but great value and friendly English speaking hostess- not always on site but uses WhatsApp to communicate when needed/ reply to questions /advise codes to get in. Happy to organise taxi pick ups to /from airport if required.

We were greeted by Carlota and Federica! They were super helpful, professional and went out of their way to help. Our room was beautiful and very clean. I would give them 5 stars. I highly recommend staying there if you ever visit Rome!

Lorenza is absolutely wonderful. She is communicative and truly cares for her guests. She accommodated our request for a larger bed and was so helpful in providing guidance and directions. The property is safe, quiet and cozy, very clean and comfortable. It is centrally located near Vatican and many other walkable sites and shopping. Each room has a fridge and is stocked with water, fruit and yogurt and she brings your choice of fresh croissants daily. I will book this location again if we return. Thank you charming Roma and Lorenza for making our stay memorable.

Admittedly this was my first B&B experience. Based on movies and the reviews I expected it to be our B&B dream. For starters, the location shown on the map was different than where it is not a huge deal. I expected it to be closer to city center of Rome though. We were charged additional fees even though the taxes and fees were to be included per Expedias usual guidelines. The check in was difficult because the staff could not speak any English. A/C was expected to only be on if we really needed it. When we would leave each day, staff would turn the A/C off so we always came back to a hot room after walking around the city all day in high 90 degree heat. Expect to bring your own soap and conditioner. Since staff couldn’t understand English-it was easier to just go buy what we needed. If the person staying in the room next to you in a snorer, expect to hear that quite well. The TV only goes to volume 10 which does little to drown out the noise of other guests. Also there’s only 3 English channels and they are news. Sadly you won’t be able to hear it because the English channels are much quieter than the others- turning on Closed Caption isn’t an option. All in all it’s a good, safe, clean place to spend the night. No one interacts here and there’s no sweet person to have a conversation with. So if you’re looking alone and quiet about 2.5 mi from things to do, this place is for you. Don’t eat the restaurant across the street that says it’s been open since 1922- it’s tasteless

Nice clean modern room and good location. Plenty of facilities however the room was outside the reception area and on the front street at ground level. The room was noisy from both sides, outside was sirens, bin men, noisy shouting till past 12 pm, this started again at 6am. I really did not get a good nights sleep however the owner did apologise for the noisy reception. Staff were unable to speak English which made it difficult at check in.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lorenza and staff are extremely helpful, friendly & welcoming. Main area is very clean & smells lovely as you enter. Rooms are spacious and clean, bed was really comfortable. There is everything you would need provided! Loved that there was English breakfast tea (visited Italy previously and this was hard to find when out) the minibar is also included which I think is amazing for the price; water, fruit & yogurt daily as well as getting a croissant each morning. All very nice touches! The location is perfect as it is quiet but walkable to all the main attractions. Would definitely recommend staying 😊

Lorenza and staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. This is a lovely, quiet area in Rome, far from the crowd and noise of more touristy areas, and therefore very easy to get taxis around the city. Lovely!

Let me start by saying Lorenza was very kind, helpful, welcoming and friendly. She had immediately showed and explained to us how we should get around the city. The property has only 6 rooms. We were assigned 2 beds@Room 5. The room is spacious with mini fridge that is being replenished with yogurt, water, orange juice , butter daily. They also provided snack bar with crackers, Nutella, honey, tea , water , jam or marmalade, plus nespresso machine for your espresso coffee. Also in the morning you have your free croissant. The bed is very comfy and with clean fresh sheets. The toilet is always clean with Salvatore Ferrargamo shower gel, shampoo and facial soap. It has also a bidet. The area is very quiet. Very walkable to Ottaviano Metro Station and the St Peter Basilica/Vatican. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, there is also a laundry mat few steps away which they wash and dry your clothes so clean and smells so fresh. During our stay the whole place was quiet. We will give this property more than 5 stars. We even saw how the housekeeper clean one of the rooms . She really deep clean them moving all the furnitures and bed. If I have two minor concerns, they have only one flat iron , I love to iron out our clothes lol . I wish they have flat iron. And ironing board in its room. But not a biggy. can always ask Lorenza for the iron. And also I wish they have a water dispenser on the main hallway for guest esp. during night time. All in all 5 stars. Highly recommended .
