The room was nice and spacious and the location was relatively walkable to most sights, however we had some other troubles with our visit. When we arrived, the parking information listed on Expedia is not entirely accurate - the car parking lot available is a little bit of a walk from the stay and costs more than expected. After doing our tours, we came back to the unit very late at night and the power abruptly went out (only in our unit) - we are assuming a fuse blew or something but we only had one thing plugged in at the time this happened. I then tried to shower in the dark since we did not have any lights, and then found that the shower did not drain and left the bathroom floor covered in water. We spoke with another guest during our struggles and she said that she had the same experience, but the hosts told her they would fix it in the morning. I sent messages to the host to ask for instructions on how to fix the power and to explain our shower situation, but unfortunately I got not response. I understand that it was late at night, but no response even in the morning.
We had high hopes based on the many positive reviews, so this could have just been bad luck, but sadly we weren’t very impressed.
