It was in fact the owners home and we shared the facilities with her and her family. Not for us , we ate in the very small bedroom where the drawers and the wardrobe were full of the owner’s possessions, socks jumpers suitcases etc. not much space for our stuff. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. "The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "
