"The house was comfortable. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a weekend get away. The view from the upper deck was perfection. Very friendly hosts. "

"The place was very clean and had everything. Loved the decor. Indoors was in great condition. No complaints at all. Outdoor area was a little disappointing in that the back deck was in a state of disrepair with broken, rotted wood on lower back deck. Also several broken boards and a hole in one area of the deck. One broken jagged board on picnic table. It was dangerous. Deck itself felt spongy and unstable. We did not spend much time out there and I reported all of this to property...

"Our group enjoyed our stay at your cabin. All was perfect for our family. We were gone during the day with our family reunion, but the rooms, bathrooms, all nice for our group of 8. The kitchen was very nice though we didn't need it for the purposes of our stay. The back patio was nicely furnished and our adult children enjoyed the hot tub for the closeout of our trip. We will definitely look at this same place for next year FAMILY REUNION."

"This place is more than I expected. The area is very peaceful. Close enough to town and yet still far enough away from town. Lots to do in the area also. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I’m sure when graduation time comes around we will be staying again. Thank You "

"This was a wonderful property! It has been updated and well-maintained. The view is lovely, great for watching the sunrise on the deck. It was a quick 6-minute drive to Fat Bully’s restaurant and about 15-20 minutes to get to town and the Chickasaw Recreation Area. Overall, the property was very clean and tidy, only some of the dishes seemed like they needed to be more thoroughly cleaned. Be careful on the indoor stairs. They are very narrow, and one of us slipped. Overall, we loved this...

"Can't say enough good things about this property. The house was very clean, the views from the porch are awesome and the property is nice and secluded so if you bring UTV's like we did you don't have to worry about anybody messing with them at night. about a 5 minute ride on the UTV from the driveway to the gate of Cross Bar."

"We really enjoyed staying here! The house was homey and comfortable. You can tell they’ve recently renovated the inside and the views outside were beautiful! There’s a very large den that would perfect for some blow up mattresses if you have a larger group. Definitely recommend visiting the Chickasaw National Recreation Area which is only minutes from the house! Also Turner Falls was gorgeous and only about 20 minutes away."

Best food and service ever!! We had a family reunion and loved it so much, we are going back next year for our family reunion!"

"We really enjoyed the location and priprerty. There were some downsides with the location but it was built in 1904, so it was to be expected. Otherwise it was a great time, enjoyed the history and really close to several locations to visit."
