"We stayed double the time we intended. We only went to Milazzo because the weather wasn’t good for a boat trip to Stromboli from Tropea. Had never heard of Milazzo. We were in a hotel (hard to find without co-ordinates but it is on the main esplanade). The host, Diago, is very customer focused, knowledgeable about the area and a happy and helpful bloke. The room was a bit small but comfortable. Our view from the balcony over the esplanade, the shore, the bay and the hills was stunning esp as we had great weather. There’s a lot to like about Milazzo and everything in town is very walkable, even out to the cape. We found the entire area safe to walk anytime. Plenty of dining, gelato, coffee options. Note, you are on the busy waterfront so noisy at times but the upside outweighs the downside by heaps. Boat trip was 5 minutes walk away and excellent (and Diego will help with that)."

"The people at the reception desk were super nice and helpful, both the day Lady and the evening guy. They tried to do everything possibile to make your stay a pleasurable one. The Hotel location is good if you are trying to get one of the ferries or tours to the Aeolian Islands. Unfortunately is on a side street and in front of a cargo section of the Milazzo Port. What I found is that although the management of the Hotel is trying to keep up with the maintanance of the Hotel unfortunately it seems that who ever built or remodeled the Hotel used chip accessories. Some of te bathrooms fixures were all loose. The eat/AC has no temperature settings. So that you can put it on or off low, Med, or high but you don't really know what you are getting. Breakfast is baic compared the most Italian Hotels breafast. Again the Staff very gentile and helpful"

"Got back from the Bagnara two days ago and had the most wonderful stay at Victoria Grand Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help and make my stay enjoyable. The hotels restaurant serves one of the best pasta dishes. A big shout out to Mirium and Perier who most helpful. The general manager Frank was amazing. He went out of his way to take us round the island and show us all the lovely spots. Had the most awesome stay and would recommend. Thank you to Frank, Mirium, Perier and all the staff working at the hotel. "

"I have great time to stay this guesthouse, wonderful arrangement to pick me up from train station, that’s what I saw the review from other guest and I followed. The location is good, walking distance to the train station, because I did day trips to the nearby little towns by train. After all, Francy is a very good manager (I didn’t ask her if she is the owner) and very helpful. I really really appreciate what you did, Francy! "
