Wonderful House!
We had a great time at this house; it was perfect for our family and so close to the beach. Our kids all want to go back and stay there again. Lisa was so responsive to anything I asked, she’s fantastic!

Family getaway reunion
The house was better than pictures ! So clean and plenty room for 11 of us never felt crowded. Such a short walk to beach. Kitchen was stocked with plenty cooking utensils and pans too cook. Really nicely laid out and decorated.

Great vacation
The house was beautiful and nicer than the pictures, It is very spacious and nicely decorated. It is a very short walk to the ocean. The ocean view from the third floor deck was amazing. The elevator and second refrigerator were a plus. The kitchen was fully stocked with untensils and cookware. Lisa always responded fast to anything I asked and during our stay informed us of activities in the area. We had a great stay!!

This property was perfect for our family. The proxitimy to the beach was great. The views of the ocean from the upper deck were amazing. The owner thought of every little detail. Would definitely recommend this property and this owner.

Fantastic House and Great Location
The house is very well appointed and the proximity of the house to the beach is fantastic. Beds are a little old but everything was very clean and as described in the listing. Rodanthe is a fun little town and the house is walking distance to great coffee shops, the Rodanthe pier and shopping. We absolutely loved our stay.

Great house and awesome time
The house was great. Comfortable and clean. Lisa the home owner was great. If you are looking for a nice getaway far from City Life this is the place. We had a great time and I have 0 complaints about our stay.

Great views and location
We had a rough start because one of the air conditioning units was broken. We slept the first night without it but the unit was replaced the next day. The house is great and it is close to the beach. The only negative with the beach is that you have to climb a sand dune to get to it. My 70 year old parents had a tough time with that. Other wise it is pretty close to perfect!

Absolutely Amazing - Home Away From Home
This house is truly your home away from home. It is a VERY short walk to the beach which is great for little kids….and adults! The house is equipped with everything you need from games/DVDs to a fully equipped kitchen! Outdoor showers and foot wash are available at the house. Highly recommend this house!

We absolutely love the place! So close to the beach and the pier. It was nice looking at both the ocean and the sound from the top floor. I was impressed with how clean and update the place is. The kids loved the pool, hot tub,and pool table. The extra refrigerator really came in handy. We will definitely return!

Wonderful Stay!
Let me begin by saying that even though we had a couple issues before our stay and during it, the host communicated with us well and addressed everything swiftly, even though she herself was on vacation! We loved this house and how close it is to the ocean. The pictures don't do it justice! Very pleased with everything. I would recommend this house!

Great Week
Property has perfect location to access the beach, shopping and restaurants - all which had great seafood. The house was the perfect size for 12 people, we never felt crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking, but the grill outside could have been bigger. The only bad thing was mattresses in bunkbed room were not very comfortable, but all other beds were great. The hammock on deck was comfortable for sleeping.

Awesome multi-generational house
We had a blast here! Our group included grandparents, aunt/uncles, siblings, and grandkids ages 77 to 10. The house was set up for everyone to have space to sleep, relax, hang out, and be together. The pool was awesome, as was the pool table! Great location. We walked to Beans & Beads for coffee and fresh pastry and there were other shops nearby. Rodanthe is quieter than the towns farther north, which we enjoyed. We had an awesome family reunion!

Perfect house for multi-generational beach getaway
We loved our recent stay in Rodanthe, and the house was perfect. We traveled with our family, including my 82-year-old mother, and the elevator was *perfect*. All of the living spaces were relaxed and comfortable, and the view from the deck was beautiful, especially at sunrise. One warning: there was a a good-sized dune that had to be traversed to access the beach. We were fine with our crew (my mother brought her walking sticks), but others with mobility challenges may have issues.

Great for multi-family vacation
This property is comfortable for large parties. The three master suites are perfect for different families getting together. The additional fees for the rental are very high. I know some of those are associated with VRBO and not the renter. But for over $900 in fees, I felt we should have had enough hand soap and toilet paper for each bathroom and a cleaner kitchen and living/dining area. We had to wash almost half of the dishes we pulled out of the cupboard and there was just an underlying griminess. Lisa was very responsive and the beach access and pool were fantastic.

Lovely home!
This home is really very nice. We really appreciate the large kitchen island. It has had several upgrades since the last time we were here. New furniture in both living spaces, new LVP flooring, new carpet and most of the outdoor deck and railing have been replaced. They are all beautiful. The host was very responsive when we reached out. There was an AC issue in the lower levels that was fixed the next day. It was reported or a Sun, so very understandable that it was fixed on Mon. We have rented here before. The only downside for us, traveling with mid-60’s parents and a 7 month old, was the size of the dune they now have at the end of the street. The beach access was not as easy as it used to be. It was difficult, at best, to get onto the beach. With the storm damage they had in this area, I totally understand the need for the dunes. Just mentioning for anyone else that may have been here before and expect the easy beach access they used to have.

Great family beach spot
This property is only a row back from the beach with its own private heated pool. Perfect for kids who want to go back and forth from the beach and little ones who cant stay in the sun too long. The house came with a high chair and packnplay which made packing much easier. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with plenty of towels. Hair dryers were included too. A fridge in the bottom and top floor. Elevator made it so easy to unpack groceries and luggage too! 20 minute drive to avon or nags head. The beach wasnt crowded and felt like we had plenty of space between us and other people. There were a few pool floats, boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys....this house had everything. Beautiful views of the ocean too. Highly recommend and would stay here again for sure!

Spacious Beach House/ Close to the Beach
We had a WONDERFUL week staying at this beach house! First off I liked where this house was located on the island. This house was centrally located in the middle of the Outer Banks island (Rodanthe), to where it was a just a short drive either direction to enjoy things in northern part of the island (Nags Head/Kitty Hawk) or southern part of the island (Cape Hatteras Lighthouse). This house was so spacious! We had 10 people staying in this house and there was plenty of room for everyone. My party was myself and my husband, my two daughters (18 & 20), two friends (18), my niece (21) and my in-laws. The room with the bunk beds was perfect for the 18 year olds. One of the master suites was on the top floor where the main living was, which was perfect for the in-laws. My mother-in-law was impressed with the kitchen and how well stocked it was with all the dishes, pans and utensils you would need for the week. The family/game room on the first floor was an added bonus. My husband and father-in-law played pool a lot and the kids enjoyed playing cards down there. This house does have a lot of stairs so the elevator was so helpful for my-in-law. It was also helpful to bring up all the groceries to the top floor. The top floor and top deck had awesome views of the ocean and Rodanthe pier! The two best qualities of this house was the private pool and how close the beach was to the house. Just a short walk and you were on the beach. We did have to climb over a sand dune though but we managed, even the in-laws! Overall this was a GREAT vacation and this house was a big part in making it great!
