"My brothers and sister decided to give my mom a great present for her 98th birthday -- a few days on the Oregon coast, an area that she absolutely loves. This home was the perfect place for that. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and I can't think of anything that the kitchen didn't have that we needed. Plenty of towels were available and the bathrooms were excellent. It's obvious that the owners of the home have gone the extra mile to make the home comfortable and pretty with various knick-knacks and photos. The big window in the eating area was the perfect place to watch the ocean and visit. Mathew made everything about checking in and out easy. If I could have given the place a 4.75 rating I would have. Two things:Thing One: One element that fell below our expectation was the access to the beach. While somewhat difficult - but possible - for the younger adults in our group, it was not possible for my mom to go down the rocks to get to the sandy beach. She was happy anyway just sitting on the deck watching the waves. Thing Two: the locks on the outside doors in the main level master bedroom and the upstairs master bedroom were a bit tricky. Luckily we had a "lock whisperer" with us who conquered the problem.Thanks, Mathew, for providing a super place for our family to celebrate our mom! We highly recommend this lovely home for a family to use to enjoy the Oregon coast."
