Nice getaway
Great location, clean and spacious enough for two adult and a medium size pup! This property is attached to another cabin like property so you can hear people through the door that separates the two. Not a big deal as people are usually quiet and respectful! The only thing I must say, we were there two year ago and the box spring under the mattress was very squeaky and still is! Hope they change this before our next visit!

The room was clean and spacious. The only issue is the fact you can hear the people next to you very loudly.

The bathroom fan quit working. The fridge wobbles from uneven feet. The neighbors might as well be in your room due to no insulation between the two units. Watch out for the creepy black van that hooked an electrical cord to the building.

Nice and affordable near ocean
I stayed here to complete a writing assignment and it worked well for that purpose. It was quiet but there is no insulation between the adjoining room and you can hear every footstep. This didn't bother me but is something to be aware of. The beach is just a few steps away. Strongly suggest booking room 115, which is on the side toward the ocean, rather than 114, which faces the highway. Overall it's a great (and rare) affordable option near the ocean, but not walkable to shops and restaurants.

Disappointed
VRBO listing for most part accurately reflects the room. But it was cold and drafty (front door needs weather stripping at bottom), the mattress was very uncomfortable, and electricity went out the last morning. I’m usually very pleased with Vacasa homes, but not in this case … very disappointed!

A room to lay your head.
A small room with a bed, dresser, T.V., table with 2 chairs, microwave and night stands. A nice size bathroom with plenty of clean towels. A 1 cup coffee maker. Not much else. But the price is right if you intend just use it for sleeping. There are no kitchen items at all for serving a even a microwaved meal. The places to eat are very limited and close by 7:00. So plan ahead! You will be watching TV sitting on the bed. Bring a back support and head rest! Great location with the beach just around the corner. We were able to park in front of the unit, no problem. So if you are on a budget or making last minute reservations(as we did) this works quite well.

Not comfortable
Unlocking the door was a challenge ge and called vacasa. Someone was sent out to help immediately and he got there super quick. Unfortunately the bed was really uncomfortable and our backs were hurting within a few hours. The worst part was how humid it was in the room and no window screens or window locks so we couldn't really leave the window open for fresh air. No A.C. just a stand up fan. We could also hear the family on the other side of a locked sliding door adjoining our rooms. In town, restaurants were mostly closed by 7pm and we had to drive to Tillamook for dinner.

Squeaky Bed
I guess with this rental you get what you pay for. It could use a window screen so you can feel safe having the window open at night. It’s in a busy ally with absolutely no view. It is walking distance to the beach though. You will probably not get a parking spot, so plan on parking in the street. The bed was ok, but really really really squeaky. If you are OCD, don’t rent this because the wall paint was sloppy and the picture above the bed was way off center. The hooks and toilet paper holder in the bathroom all fell off. Other than that, it was ok.

Hard to find a better price/location
It was a last moment booking on Easter and Spring break. I'm happy I got it! This is a simple and affordable option, very close to the beach. Not a 'first line' but you do not have to cross any major roads. Less than a minute to get on the sand. The building in the front actually adds wind protection. Bathroom and major area were clear. Later we did found some dust and nut shells behind the bed and a lamp stand but the actual living area was very clean. Not a real issue. Plenty of towels, good shower. There is a closed door that splits the building into two units. The door is the only thing that separates you and your neighbors. It's thin. You can hear people whispering, talking, cooking. I'm sure they could hear us doing the same. To the management - I definitely suggest to improve this area. Others mentioned a noisy bed. I agree :) Before checking out, we discovered a small leak under the sink. Had to wipe it. Another thing for the management to take care. Will I recommend? Definitely, yes. Price and location, general cleanliness, table, fridge, microwave - what else a one may need on a beach? :)

Not Enought Parking & too much noise, great price and beach access posit
FIRST, I have now read multiple reviews, we NEVER saw management on the grounds, perhaps they were there and we did not see them or figure out how to access them! The room was fairly inexpensive. The second night of our stay at this VACASA property in Rockaway Beach, when again, there was NO PARKING in the parking lot, we called VACASA and asked for direction. The person took our information and we received a call back (manager?) telling us where we were allowed to park. Two nights of the five we stayed there, we were able to park in front of the rental. The other three we had to walk. We did find out we could park on a side road, but not across from it, as those rentals were owned by someone else. SO the first night, we parked somewhere we could have been towed or ticketed! NOT that we are intolerant of noise, as we have had children in the and have been teenagers. There was so much noise from other rentals (we believe that the entire "motel" is vacation rentals) was so noisy, from crying babies and children to loud young adults. FYI, there is a fan in the room and no airconditioning, we brought a fan with us as two previous guests said the air conditioner did not work, there was no air conditioner. The fan worked fine. AN FYI for the property owner, it could have been cleaned a bit better. There was an inhaler under the bed, we found when making sure we got all of our items, and against the wall. behind the bed frame, were several dead bugs. The worse was not knowing if we would have a place to park after returning from a day of visiting nearby beaches. There is quick access to the beach from this unit, just no view, which we were aware of. It is less than a two-minute walk to the beach and there are steps built into the sand. The townspeople are very nice and tolerant of a town swarming with tourists. The parking was an issue. Perhaps one of the two parking spots could be marked for the occupants of unit #115. In reading other posts many compliment the management and the coffee. We missed both of these. Certainly not an unaffordable place to stay, and it is close to the beach. Probably the most affordable rooms on the coast. The bed was noisy, probably the plastic-type mattress cover that was in use. It was a bit hard for our liking, and we would consider spending a little money on a bed topper. The shower was clean and had great shower pressure. We would not be opposed to staying here again.

Great location but...
We loved how close we were to the beach and the room seemed homey. There was unfortunately no ac and the WiFi didn’t work. We work remotely so this is a big deal for us. The bed was the loudest mattress I’ve ever slept on and anytime we moved during the night the entire bed made noise. I would say it’s a bit overpriced for the comfortability and I was disappoint in the non access to internet. We had to call and wait for a response from scott. Who was extremely helpful and did get us hooked up but it took until noon. Would I stay again....no :(
