"This was our second stay on the property and will stay again in the future. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach and the house is perfectly set up for two people. The beach is largely private. Host communicates very well and property is clean and well cared for. Access to washer and dryer is also very nice."

"Purple Papaya checked off all of our boxes. It was clean, with a pool, and the view, my God, the view. Everyday we walked on the beach, got in the ocean, got in the pool only to take another walk during the sunset. Watching the sunrise was life changing!! Only God could create something so beautiful and Purple Papaya provided that for us!!"

"The property is well kept, nice and clean and steps from an amazing empty beach. The kitchen is a bit tight (but was definitely sufficient).Key was left in a lock box and easy to check in/out.Backup generator saved us when there was a power outage right in the middle of cooking dinner. The generator was able to keep the cooktop and oven on as well as all the lights."

"The property is well cared for and tidy. It's very quiet and relaxing. The studio is very comfortable and the couch is comfortable (that's not always the case in some places). Kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed to make great meals with the local offerings. The lovely, trash free beach is usually vacant so it feels like your own private island.The only thing I wish is that a couple small palms be removed as there is no ocean view at all. There are approximately 200 trees on the property and their absence would not affect the ambiance at all.All in all, a lovely trip and I do recommend this studio."

"Pristine private beach, ready access to calm seas, and a perfectly complementing plunge pool. Our group of 7 left only to pick up the famed cinnamon buns and assorted groceries at Island Farm. Beautiful sunsets, but beware the no-see-ums in the early morning hours and at dusk. "

"Great location! Only steps to the beach. Stars are amazing. Sound of waves can be heard from the deck. Sunrise from the front deck each morning was wonderful. Sunset off the side deck is also great! Kitchen is well stocked for coooking and nice that staples were left behind from past guests, inlcuding extra drinking water. Be sure to go to the Island Farm store and the Market in Rock Sound was impressively stocked, especially for us as vegetarians who coooked most of our meals at Tradewinds. Information provided by host on nearby beaches, stores and restaurants was very helpful in our planning and considering what to do each day. Host was also very responsive with suggestions and help of any kind. December was a little too cold for us to use the pool but it was cleaned everyday in case we wanted to take a plunge. The secluded beaches, the adventurous roads, the wonderful shops and stores, the very helpful residents and shop owners, and Island Farm are the reasons we will be returing as soon as we can! "
