"The location was amazing, right on the river and walkable to downtown. We arrived early and were given a lunch suggestion that was delicious and then were booked into a large corner room. Staff was nice, room and cleaning staff were nice. Would highly recommend. "

"I labeled this trip the Hallmark Movie vacation. A fantastic historic hotel in full fall foliage. Everyone we met were pleasant and helpful. Brandon is conveniently located to where everything is just a short drive through the beautiful mountains of Vermont. Highly recommended."

"The place is beautiful with river running behind property with several fire pit. Property does sell fire wood so no need to try to look for stores who has them. I would definitely recommend to use the fire pit, the scenery is gorgeous but be careful especially during fall theres lots of dry leaves around the pits that may catch fire. The room is very clean with nice sheets and clean towels and has adequate kitchen equipment to use if you are planning to do light cooking. Theres no staff in sight but they are very quick to respond thru text msgs if you have any requests, I loved Avery who helped us when we needed to change the room we booked. She was very quick to respond and eager to help us. I would definitely use this lodge again for people who worked at the property and the beautiful scenery and the atmosphere. "

I don’t know her name but the young lady that works in the office was so nice and friendly when we checked in and out. I couldn’t get over the view of the lake from the room. The star gazing was fantastic at night!"
