This holiday accommodation enjoys a special location on the ridge of a hill, in the typical Ardennes village Forzee. From here you can enjoy a panoramic view of around 45km over forests and villages of the Famenne area, as far as Luxembourg. The house is on a country road with little traffic and it is quiet. Next to this building there is only the owner’s house, about 100 metres away. So the owner is available to assist with any queries.
The house has a 1200m² fully fenced garden, where children or dogs can run around freely. This garden also has a large south-facing terrace with garden furniture, a sun shade and a grill. There is a large swing for children. There is a big car port (640 x 370 cm) by the entrance area.
Your holiday accommodation is suitable for a maximum of six people and comprises three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom. All the rooms are at ground level. The living room provides a cosy sitting corner with a TV, DVD player and radio, and a dining corner for six people. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, stove, fridge, mixer and many other accessories. There are also three bedrooms, one with a double bed 140cm wide, two each with two single beds 80cm wide. The bathroom has a large washbasin, a shower and mirror. There is also an extra toilet. The annex houses a washing machine, dryer and storage room. The lounge is heated with a radiator run on propane gas. It has a capacity of 8.72KwH. The bathroom has an additional electric radiator.
The forested surroundings with deer and wild boar roaming freely are ideal for beautiful walks. In this area there are also many picturesque localities typical of the Ardennes. The well-known town Rochefort is nearby and worth a visit. You can also do shopping there. Only about a kilometre from Forzee there is a leisure centre in a nature reserve of around 500 hectares, with a range of recreational activities such as swimming, riding, rowing, jogging etc. There are various playgrounds for children, as well as restaurants and cafes.
You can use the Internet connection in the house free of charge.
