"L arrivée se fait très facilement. Attention toutefois à ne pas oublier de prendre à l avance le numéro à contacter car la zone ne permet pas l accès à internet. Nous n avons pas eu de chance, la piscine était pleine d algues vertes et donc non pratiquable pendant plus de la moitié du séjour. Le bain finlandais était vide, le remplir et le chauffer prend une demie journée. La cuisine à gaz sur les photos n est pas disponible, seul le barbecue à charbon ( donc à ne pas oublier lors des courses à...

A couple of friendly cows add to the picture and do not disturb the tranquility of the place. "Le week-end annuel des cousinades s'est déroulé dans ce charmant hameau isolé et calme. La maison, très fonctionnelle et vaste était parfaite pour notre groupe de 17 personnes. La terrasse très grande a accueilli tous les repas, même les petits déjeuners. Les ballades à proximité ont permis de s'aérer sans prendre la voiture. Seul hic, les chambres sans fenêtres sans possibilité d'aérer et de respirer."

"I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

Charming chalet with all comfort at 15min from the slopes, 300m from the lake, shops at 5min

Cozy and secluded chalet

"A comfortable and well-equipped rental. It had everything imaginable in terms of kitchenware, recreational materials (games, cards), tourist brochures, cleaning materials, and bathroom supplies. The tourist information was solely in French as well as all instructions for the use of appliances. We highly recommend an English version, especially for the appliances, for those who have little to no French. Unfortunately, we had an issue with the owner about charges for linen and towels. The VRBO English site indicated no extra charge for this. It seems that the French site did. This is a serious oversight/problem. Beware users of the English website before you book! However, Corinne was very amenable and understanding about this issue and we resolved it amicably. Overall, the accommodation is very good. And visiting such a beautiful volcanic landscape was an unforgettable and once in a lifetime experience. Merci, Corinne. "

Séjour calme et reposant

"Nous avons apprécié le Cantal pour ses activités en plein air. Balades, baignades dans le lac... Le quartier, composé de chalets, est verdoyant, calme et agréable. Nous avons apprécié aussi la proximité du lac pour la baignade. Le logement est cosy, nous avons apprécié la terrasse sur laquelle nous avons pu prendre tous nos repas grâce au store et à l'ombre des arbres. Un seul bémol, l'étroitesse de la douche et des escaliers pour une personne grande et de forte corpulence."

"This was a really comfortable cottage for our large family. It had everything we needed and the surrounding area is beautiful. There is plenty to do and see in the vicinity.
