"Casa Matidia was a real surprise for us. A wonderful surprise. The photographs on VRBO don’t do it justice. The house is beautiful, magnificently furnished, and equipped with everything you might need. Stefano and his family were present at our arrival and welcomed us warmly, providing a much-appreciated welcome pack. "Lovely place! Very welcoming, friendly hosts. Comfortable beds and extremely kid friendly with lots of toys etc. They thought of everything. We only stayed one night as a quick stop over but wish we were able to stay longer. We will be back!"

"Lovely home, however, there were some issues. Almost every dish we pulled out was dirty and unfortunately we kept having to deal with ants by the front door area, where the garbage/recycling bins were. Communication with the host was ok. I didn't get responses to questions asked prior to arriving, which is bad form. "

"It was a great stay. The house is very peaceful, no disturbances and great country feeling. The house has everything you need, and the terrace is generous with an amazing view of a big valley and mountains. You need a car to stay here."

"Ho soggiornato per una settimana in questa struttura magnifica con tutti i confort che servono per rilassarti e staccarti dalla realta , ottima location e proprietari molto gentili e disponibili per ogni mia richiesta esaudite in brevissimo tempo . Non ci sono parole per descrivere il tutto perche bisogna viverle certe emozioni . Grazie a Iole ,il marito e il suo papa'"

"We made wonderful memories at the Casale. The place is huge with spacious dining, living room and outdoor space and swimming pool. The view is stunning. Close to Formia snd Gaeta beaches, boat tour of the area was beautiful. Restaurants and good pizza places. The kids had super time doing night swims at the pool. We give this place an A+"

"I stayed in many apartments during my Italy trip and by far this was the nicest. Great location, very clean, great stocked kitchen and wonderful host. wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely stay here my next time in the area."

"Property is beautiful!"

"The house is truly incredible. Very secluded and peaceful with no neighbours at all. The house was very well decorated and everything (hot water, Wi-Fi etc) worked fine. Fernando was very helpful whenever we needed him. Amazing tranquility and fabulous views. We got a train to Rome for one night very easily and the history of the area is amazing. Many thanks Fernando and Rosanna."

"We enjoyed staying in this villa with our adult children and friends. There was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was a lifesaver as it was quite hot during our stay. The owner was super responsive and kind - (I got worried about some hill fires early in our stay, he put me at ease and was very reassuring)."
