Roccaraso is the beating heart of the Cinquemiglia Plateau, a place that blends the liveliness of an internationally renowned tourist destination with the warmth of a welcoming mountain town. Famous for its ski facilities and numerous outdoor activities in every season, Roccaraso is an ideal destination for those seeking nature, sports, and relaxation.
Right here, in the heart of the town, is Via Roma, a tree-lined avenue that represents the elegant and characteristic soul of Roccaraso. This beautiful avenue is the reference point for relaxing walks, where the green of the trees offers shade in summer and transforms into a spectacle of colours in autumn. In winter, with snow adorning the branches and lights decorating the street, Via Roma becomes a magical place, perfect for enjoying the Christmas atmosphere or a romantic evening.
Along the avenue, you will find craft shops, boutiques, bars, and restaurants, where you can taste typical dishes of the Abruzzese tradition. Via Roma is not just a street, but a meeting point for residents and visitors, where every step tells the story and lifestyle of Roccaraso.
Roccaraso, one of the most renowned mountain resorts in Italy, is easily accessible in any season thanks to its strategic position in the Cinquemiglia Plateau. Here's how to get here:
