"Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. "We had higher expectations - and I don’t mean luxury. This is a very basic property, lacking many amenities you’d expect in a 3* star rated property (e.g. tea making facilities in the room) and maintained with little attention to detail. "Well, we arrived at 730pm.. no one around? We called and he had said he just left? So, basically the property was unattended? He claimed he waited til 7 .. I hadn't confirmed any time as there was no communication available through vrbo. Quite the sad experience.."

"The place is clean BUT, all the necessities that you needed is not provided, no soap, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towel etc. Pool is close at 8pm, what the heck your on vacation and after a long day outside you want to relax on the pool but it is close. And one more thing no air conditioning, you have to pay 5euro/day. All of these should have provided with no extra cost. "

Exceptional Hotel

"Extremely clean / all modern facilities/ excellent breakfast the hotel is situated on the top of the city walking distance to everything you need….. incredibile staff especially Tiziana ( full of knowledge and spoke English made several recommendations that were great) street parking is available near the port about 10 min walk. I can’t wait to stay here again. I highly recommend. "
