"Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer tollen Parkanlage zwischen Weinreben, Zitronen/Olivenplantagen. Der Pool war sauber und sehr stylish. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich wie in einem alten Herrenhaus, sehr authentisch. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war ein Highlight mit Blick auf‘s Meer auf der einen Seite. Die andere Seite mit Blick auf den Ätna. Sehr gute Lage zu Ausflügen nach Taormina, Ätna und Syrakus."

"Lovely place, lovely grounds, nice breakfast, very convenient for places like Taormina. The only slight issue we had was that we were looking forward to having dinner in their restaurant, where much of the food cooked would come from the farm itself, but they stop opening in the evenings from 20th October until April - we arrived 22nd October! Shame, and it would have been useful if this was advertised - they do still provide lunches at weekends though, in the off-season."

"This hotel offers all the benefits of a private villa yet the perks of a five-star hotel. It will soon have a Relais et Chateau boutique rating we are sure! Its location near Taormina yet higher up in the mountains means that you are very near many of the must sees of Sicily and learn a lot about the unique geology and history of the area. We enjoyed tours of Mount Etna, and the Etna Donatella winery, hiked down to the Alcantara Gorge & enjoyed dining in many of the nearby towns. We stayed for a...

"It was very difficult to find, as it was not where GPS said it was and we could not see it from the road. It was equivalent to a U.S. motel - nothing fancy but it suited our needs and was one of the few options we could find in the area. "
