"If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. "We arrived late in the evening as the restaurant was closing. Even though the kitchen was closed, the matri'd offered us salad plates that were delicious, filling, and much appreciated. The room was quiet with a nice view. Breakfast was lovely. "

"This is an 18th century house converted into a quaint inn. Very nice. Easy walk to the ruins. Pleasant staff. The restuarant was pricey and pretentious for supper. (We did the multi-course meal, but later wished we just ordered somethings that were less exotic.) Sit down breakfast in the old wine celler was great."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Properly is small and the breakfast was convenient. There is a related beach club across the street with a large pool, restaurant, bar and beach lido. We were provided an umbrella and reclining sun beds at no extra charge. Location is convenient to Amalfi Coast and Paestum. Many restaurants along the beach which are competitively priced, most with sea views."
