"We had a wonderful 3 week stay with 8 adults and later 8 adults and 2 children. The property was as depicted with well maintained pool and yard, outdoor dining area, well equipped kitchen. It is on 3 levels with connecting spiral staircase plus a loft. Sarah was a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive. Bagni di Lucca is well past its glory days, but still charming and a short rather steep walk from the house. This is not the Tuscany we imaged with vistas of rolling hills and hilltop towns:...

"Loved & cared for by owners. Rina & Bruno went beyond the call of duty to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Help with a punctured tyre on arrival set their high standard of care. We never tired of the wonderful views from the house, the birdsong, the scents pf wild flowers and the ambience of the ancient village. The 15 minute drive down a steep & winding road may challenge a less experienced driver. We loved the local markets and the thermal baths in Bagni di Lucca and walking in the mountains....

Alessandro (the owner) was wonderful - charming and helpful but also discreet, coming early in the morning to clean the pool each day without disturbing his slumbering guests! When we arrived there was an issue with the wi-fi but Alessandro sorted it out and came back the next morning with a brand new router. "A comfortable house with all the amenities. Excellent hosts (Davide and his father) who are always available, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Locals prepared dinner two nights - excellent.
