"We were very impressed with the very friendly and welcoming staff, the beautiful surroundings and the food. We arrived a little bit early, with our toddler. They managed to accommodate us and while we waited we were at the strange time just after breakfast bur before lunch. One of the staff members went off the kitchen and managed to get some pastries for us which was really appreciated. The team seemed genuinely interested and friendly and we felt very at home. The meal in Kathleen’s kitchen was lovely, again great service and food prepared with passion and care. The cocktails at the bar were unique and very good. The property is extensive, very well kept and really interesting with loads to explore. We’ve stayed in a few 5 star hotels at home and abroad, and this is definitely right up there. It’s a real gem. I’m looking forward to our next visit!"

BUT Expedia listed the hotel had laundry facilities and an airport shuttle. Those were the reasons we booked this hotel. They did not have laundry or an airport shuttle. If id known that we would have booked a different hotel. "
