Great for our extended family.

Plenty of space for our extended family getaway. Kids loved the beach and pier steps away. Pool and bar area were great for games and relaxing.

Loved our time at casa de suano

Our favorite house we have ever stayed at, Roatan Vacation rentals was amazing!!! Beach front, can swim to the reef from the beach or dock. Be hard to stay anywhere else when we come back.

8 adult divers stayed here. Dive boat picked us up on the dock out front of the property. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice location. We rented 2 cars but really could get by with taxi. We had a chef for 3 nights that I would highly recommend. We had a wonderful time here.

Roatan Hideaway

Overall good. We liked the setup and space of the house. The outside sitting areas were great. Nice amenities however the property needs better maintenance. For our stay we had water pressure issues in the showers, kitchen drain clogged due to grease trap, pool needed repair and cleaned, sink on outside island did not work, as well as the beach shower, Pictures look better than actual place. Would we come back, yes.

Great Location

Property was as described. We had daily upkeep on lawn and pool service. Enrique was available for any issues we had to reconcile immediacy. Security was top notch. They provide three rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 paper towel roll, liquid and bar soap in every bathroom, they had dishwasher soap, dish soap, and every pot, pan, and dish you would need to feed a family of 13 or more. Location is about a 15 minute drive to West End and 25 minute drive to West Bay. We would definitely return when we come with a large group.

Beautiful Property in Quiet Location

Casa de Suenos was a perfect spot for our family of 11 - parents, kids/spouses and grandkids. It is in a quiet location, a gated community with security guard. It is convenient to the airport (15 min) and to the active locations of West End and West Bay (15 min and 20 min). Two good supermarkets are 5 min and 10 min away. We did rent a car and had no issues driving around the island, though roads can vary from very good to poor. The house itself was very clean and comfortable, though we did have a few maintenance issues, they were addressed promptly by the rental staff, whose office is just a minute away. The beach is public, but had very little traffic save the residents, and the crystal clear water right behind the house was perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, etc. There was a nice swim ladder on the community dock nearby, so that was a help also. All in all, a great week at this very relaxing spot.

Private Oasis

This private oasis is right in the middle of the island making it easy to get anywhere you want. Perfect for large families as the separate quarters provide privacy. One of the best houses we have ever rented! Snorkeling off the pier is one of the better spots we found and provides hours of enjoyment with many unique sea life spotted which we did not see on several other snorkeling adventures. Our grill wasn’t working and within a few hours, they had a replacement. The pool was cleaned every day. The property Manager was super helpful and the concierge service was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. An amazing experience!

Christmas family getaway

Beautiful Oasis

This home was wonderful for multiple families. It is just how it's described. Fully loaded kitchen, beautiful spacious bedrooms, wonderful bathrooms with running water, well functioning AC, and spacious/beautiful living spaces. It is definitely not possible to swim in front of the home, but we enjoyed jumping off the nearby dock. The swimming pool is very small but it's good for cooling off and we appreciated that they cleaned it every morning. There were only two aspects that were a little different than expected: (1) the gated community: while there is a guard posted at the entrance, it is not gated in the way the U.S. has gated communities as individuals can enter the property on foot, they simply can't drive in without going through the guard. And, we often found the guards sleeping. But, we did feel relatively safe. (2) There was significant construction on the two neighboring houses. While this got noisy from time to time, it wasn't much of an issue. Other info that may be helpful: Please note that the kitchen is well stocked but does not include potholders or basic things like olive oil and spices. It is wiped clean after each guest and really only includes salt and pepper. If you stop at the grocery in Coxen Hole on your way in from the airport, know you will have to buy all edibles for cooking purposes. And, like most places in Honduras, the mosquitos are relentless, but we kept all doors closed and didn't have the need for mosquito netting. Finally, it is customary in Honduras to place toilet paper in the waste paper baskets beside the toilets rather than flushing it down the drain as the plumbing on the mainland leaves much to be desired. Because we were on septic, I asked about whether we could flush our toilet paper and they asked that we put it in the trash cans. I wasn't sure if this is because they were taking advantage of the fact that I knew this custom or if the septic tanks for this property really couldn't handle flushed toilet paper. Regardless, this is an enjoyable home and the managers of the property are quite attentive. It is unlikely you'll be disappointed.

Great time at Lawson Rock

This property is perfect for family's or large groups. Right on the water, fully stocked kitchen, really great and family staff. The security guards in particular were extremely friendly and helpful.

Amazing Thanksgiving in Roatan!

The house was exactly like it was described on the listing. Layout was great for our group of 13 and provided ample space to spread out or be together. House was clean and secure with 24 hour security 100 yards away. The beach was not good for sitting on but we swam out to the reef everyday and snorkeled. Dive boats would be there all the time and all we had to do was swim out about 200 yards for some of the best views in the sea. Roatan vacations was super quick to respond and Liz and Jimmy were Rockstars! We will be back!

This place has it all! A spectacular view of the sea and sunsets, spacious deck with pool and sitting areas, lounge chairs. Large well stocked kitchen and dining area, comfortable beds, cozy hammocks, well kept grounds in a gated community. It's perfect for a group of up to 12. Highly Recommend. Thank you so much!

There were 8 family members in our group. We absolutely loved the house,

Loved proximity to airport, grocery store, restaurants, reef. We rented the entire house and used all of it. Loved going out to the reef with kayaks. Swam and snorkeled daily. Some of us used the gym. Would rent this property again. Rental company great! Highly recommend this property and rental company.

Exceptional stay in casa de sueńos

We had an exceptional stay in casa de suenos for five days. The location of the house is perfect because everything is easy and fast to reach by taxi or rental car. You have no tourists, a quite beach and a part of the reef for youreself. The house is situated in Lawson Rock which is a 15min taxi drive to West End with loads of bars and nice restaurants. If you drive 10mins north you have the next huge supermarket in Coxen Whole where you can buy everything youre heart desires. The house is perfect for big groups, it’s equipped with everything you can think of in terms of kitchen, different activities or games. You can take the two big Kanus out for a paddle and snorkle on the reef or you can relax in the hammocks, in the pool, or in one of the many chillout areas around the house to enjoy the view of the beautiful carribbean sea. Due to the 24h security service on the beach and around the lawson rock community we felt super safe. The guards where very nice. Roatan Vacation Rentals makes youre stay super comfortable and easy. They are super nice and helped us with everything and where able to answer all our questions. The house and the outside area were super clean when we arrived and the pool area even got cleaned during our stay. We can only recommend staying in casa de suenos in Lawson rock!

Casa de Sueños is a dream house!

We felt at home immediately. What a gorgeous place. The second day heavy rains fell most of the time, yet we were happy inside, playing board games, reading and enjoying the beautiful view. The pool at the house is just right to cool off and socialize and if you want to swim, you walk down to the pier to swim in crystal clear ocean water. There a 2 Kayaks for use and we loved to take them out. West End is close by and you can engage in all the wonderful island activities such as snorkeling or visiting other beautiful sites. Do not miss out on good food and great coffee in Crazy Bean at West End The house is beautiful with great views, offers many rooms and is very well maintained. I will recommend this to friends and acquaintances. The service by the manager was outstanding, prompt, friendly and very reliable. We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful place to stay with a gorgeous view!

The house has the most gorgeous view of the ocean. It is really like two houses with a breezeway separting the two. One side has only bedrooms and baths, and the other has a bedroom/bath and the kitchen/dining/sitting areas. This works out well if you have more than one family coming. The bedrooms are all nice sized and the beds are comfortable. You might want to bring your own pillows though, they are supplied but are rather hard. The kitchen is spacious and easy to work in. Dishes and cooking articles are supplied. The pans are in need of a facelift though. The dining area is a little small, but does seat 8. The sitting room is small also, but has a wonderful view. There is a huge deck though with table and chairs also for sitting. The house was clean and well kept up. The use of the kayaks is a plus too. We have been here twice, and both times were great. Highly recommended.

Best Vacation Ever!

This was our first trip to Roatan and we absolutely loved it. Our family and friend’s family (4 adults, 4 kids) really enjoyed seven days at this beautiful ocean front home during Spring Break. The house is very spacious and nicely equipped and beautifully decorated, simply amazing! It is located in a secure community which made us feel very safe and comfortable. The kids enjoy snorkeling and kayaking and they could do it just right outside the house was a big nice plus. Our concierge, Bertha was superb and extremely nice and helpful. Everything we needed was taken care of and she even picked up pizzas at west end for us!! We also hired Chef Susan the night before we left, authentic and delicious, best coconut shrimp I’ve ever had! We love Roatan and would highly recommend Casa De Sueno to anyone looking for an island getaway.

Great Stay, Perfect Location (Updates Coming)

We were 3 families (6 adults, 4 kids) over this New Year's week at Casa de Suenos and had a really great stay. The location was super, as was the snorkeling. The kitchen, although dated, had a superb layout for cooking/hosting a big group, with ample storage and work space. The bedrooms were nicely spread out, affording privacy for all. Most of all, for the price, to be right on the water for 10 people, and in a secure and mostly clean property, was remarkable. The management company was great, and very responsive. We hired chef Susan one night which was a highlight, and wished we had booked her for more. We were told by management that the owner is about to undertake some much needed updates. I would imagine that the pricing will reflect this afterwards, but it should be worth it. Among the negatives, I would kindly suggest the owner address and update these things: ALL kitchen appliances, bed and bath linens, the BBQ and outdoor deck area to enhance what could be a tremendous view, add outdoor lounge and living room seating for the full capacity (i.e., the living room seats 4). And, if up for a bigger renovation, I would suggest redoing the pool/deck area. The pool is a bit goofy, a plunge pool, I guess; not quite hot tub, not quite a swimming pool, and definitely not an "infinity" pool, as it says. Room for only about 2 at a time! A bigger pool would be great, as the beach in front is not (for swimming); it's a bit dirty, and with the coral reef beginning right at the shore it is not really approachable from the beach.....although just a quick walk down the long pier lands you in the most exquisite, warm and clear blue water imaginable! Sunsets were amazing, as were our kayak sunrises. My comments are merely meant to be helpful to the owners. All in all, we had a fantastic stay. If you are OK with the basics, nothing fancy, it would be hard to beat the price. And if you are going mainly for the snorkeling/scuba, with this location, that too is hard to beat. We definitely recommend a stay at Casa de Suenos, and thank Lawson Rock for a great stay.
