We pride ourselves on ensuring that our guest has absolute privacy. Self check-in. However, we are on call for any assistance.

Host totally ripped us off!
We received all the confirmation that our reservation was secure. Text stated host at location as we did not have WiFi to connect. After renting a car and driving around finding this place we were told by the host they canceled listing with you back in August! Not having access to Wi-Fi and unable to contact VRBO (need Wi-Fi to access) the 24hr notification lapsed so no refund. To anyone who books outside US and has limited connections please write down all necessary contact numbers. This mistake costs us several hundred dollars. Been on the phone with VRBO the last couple days as they’ve been unable to contact the host and already released funds. Unsatisfied furious former customer Susan and Leonard Madsen

This was the worst experience I've ever had! 1st there is NO A/C as advertised, barely any windows to open for ventilation-windows opened up to brick walls & NO breeze. Over 100° & humid. Literally sweating because the place wouldn't cool down w/the 1 fan provided. It got way worse from the min. I walked in! Nothing was clean, used bar of soap w/leftover hair from the previous guest. Dangerous conditions, broken tiles, shower wouldn't drain, faucet handle broken off. Plus there were 100s of tiny ants crawling everywhere in the bathroom, near the bed & kitchen & who knows where else. Made the mistake of putting leftovers on a surface for a matter of seconds & it was covered in the black ants inside & out of the box. As I was walking to put my sandals back on because I didn't trust to walk around barefoot, I stepped on a tack that was lying on the ground that went through the bottom of my foot. I tried to contact Orbitz as soon as I got there because of the conditions & because it was out of country, had to rely on their spotty WiFi to get a hold of someone. I ended up just giving up & leaving. Wasn't worth waiting for the refund & could NOT stay there overnight. I am very easy going & stay at a lot of budget-friendly places but this was absolutely unacceptable! Didn't seem like a safe area & very unwelcoming. "Host" was absolutely horrible. Didn't care about anything but keeping $. She tried to lie & say I stayed there when I had proof I didn't, plus bed was untouched. BEWARE!

Wonderful Experience!
Mrs. Hewlett and her family hosted my father at their apartment. My father is originally from Tortola and had not been back to the island in over 30 years. The apartment was right in the middle of Huntums Ghut, which is where he is from and is very close to Road Town and has many convenient places to eat and purchase groceries near by. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Hewlett and her husband. They are warm, friendly and kind and make you feel right at home and you feel like you are a part of their family. If you are looking for a quaint, cozy place to relax and unwind I would highly recommend this apartment!

Our stay was great! We stayed before and after a week long sailing trip. A nice quiet out of the way place. Denice and her husband were super friendly and accommodating. She even drove us to a place for dinner on our last night. We would definitely stay here again.

Convenient, quiet Caribbean Landing Spot
This "studio" apartment is conveniently located on a proper neighborhood street. (Main area is bedroom but a little sitting area up front and a cute porch and separate kitchen.) Easy 10-20 minute walk from every spot for food or Tortola sightseeing recommended in my guidebook. If you rent a car everything else--including stunning beaches--is 15-20 minutes drive. Quick grocery for essentials located 3 minutes walk down the road. Hosts give you all the privacy you need, but answered every inquiry within less than an hour. Hosts have a wealth of local knowledge which they willingly share if you ask. Environmentally friendly cleaning/bath products an extra bonus. Great value for money. If you want a "green" easy stay on Tortola, this is a great choice. Also if you are not up to walking along the roadside it's a $5 fixed taxi ride to main town area--I never used this b/c walk is easy, even for middle aged person. Cannot overemphasize how convenient the spot.

Lornette and Paul were amazing hosts from the time they picked me up at the airport. Their house is very quaint and I felt right at home from the time I got there. They were also amazing at getting me around to where I needed to go throughout my 3 day stay. We will def stay with them again if we go back to Tortola.
