Diriyah is a very old historic settlement located on the outskirts of Riyadh.

This site contains the ruins of the old city of Al-Diri'ya which has been/is being renovated and restored,

Wadi Hanifa also goes through this site and is probably the best public park in Riyadh. Although I might argue that the Diplomatic Quarter is better for walking if you are a woman who prefers hikes without an abaya.

"We LOVED this palatial property. The lobby florals were stunning and changed daily. We got a room overlooking the front fountains which I recommend. The swimming pool is the largest & fanciest I’ve ever seen. The service was incredible. Alesia in the lobby was very helpful and kind. Fascial the butler was equally attentive and funny. Shukran for a fabulous stay. "
