I needed a pet friendly motel for one night. I've stayed at Paintrbush two years ago, and the same room, ironically. Unfortunately, everything looked the same, all the things that needed repair at that time are further deteriorated. I appreciate their parking lot for pets, as it is very easy to get them in and out without bothering other guests. They have a half a block to the west for walking your pet, until you reach a home with outdoor dogs. The location is very walkable if your pet doesn't mind cars driving by. The staff do not work at the front desk, they have a sign to call and they open the door and talk from that door. So unprofessional. I paid $80 /- but I would not pay more. Clear the snow from the drive and in front of the rooms, keep customers safe and your property looking clean. Maintain your facilities.

No heat 1st night. Given a portable heater that could only keep room at 68 F due to 10F outside. No house keeping on a 2 day stay. Ran out of paper supplies.

I read the reviews that said this was a nice hotel, I would disagree. Being a single woman here for a conference I felt very unsafe with my surroundings. The room itself was ok, there was a stain on the bedspread, paint peeling on the walls, I’m not sure the bathtub would’ve drained if I tried to shower, and I found stuff left behind by a previous person. Will not stay here again.

Beware of Hotels.com and Paint brush.
The room was old , run down, stains in the tub and dog poop on the floor. We had indigent families living on either side of us, cooking outside on hotpates. Hotel’s.com rated this motel an 8. Very good. I’ve lost all confidence in Hotels.com. I will be using a different site to book my next reservation. I would sooner have stayed in a sheep camp.

Don't bother...
Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well so had to stop for the night. The room was not clean at all - I questioned whether the bedding was fresh, the mattress and pillows have seen better days, there were cob webs, you could see light coming in around the door, etc. I ended up getting no sleep whatsoever and leaving at 4AM.

I had a reservation and had a confirmation from hotels com. When I arrived I was told"no more rooms", sorry..I showed my confirmed reservation etc but all I was told was sorry nothing we can do,no more rooms and they claimed my reservation was not showing! My fiancee had to book a room elsewhere for us for alot more money. When I reported to hotels.com they told them that they gave us an upgrade at another for same price!?! Absolute lie! They did nothing to help us get another room.Only thing I had from them was no help and sorry sold out.. unacceptable!

The room smelled like stale cigarettes and the furniture was covered with thick dust. Very dirty. The gentleman at the office was nice but could barley speak English. It was quiet and close to major shopping center. Would not stay again.
