"We have been visiting Canaan Valley most of our adult lives. Sometimes we stay in Davis, but most of the time we stay in the Timberline community. Jim’s property is awesome! So peaceful and accommodating. Everything you need and then some! One of the best VRBOs. If you have never been to the area Jim provides tons of great, helpful information. Thanks Jim!"

"Our overall impression of mountainous beauty cannot be understated. The amenities and charm of the small town of Davis harkens back to a forgotten time of simplicity and neighborly care. The nearbyhorseback trails and petting zoo provided a commune with the natural world that we craved in this colorful time of year and the close hiking trails and waterfalls are worth every step of the way. "Everything was just as advertised. Lovely little place to get away. Very quiet, no noise or light pollution. Lots of window, that made for a very nice breeze all night, and so many stars you could see from bed. Overall if you are looking for a rustic getaway, you would be hard pressed to find a better place. "

"Very charming cottage and setting. We saw a fox within the first five minutes of arrival. Electric heat would be nice, as I just felt like dealing with space heaters on vaca is not something I want to do again. Our host was excellent....so helpful. "
