Welcome to this Old Charm Craftsman-style home located in a historic neighborhood in Downtown Riverside, a few blocks walking distance to the famous Mission Inn, a historical landmark hotel. Lots of history in the area. This home is for those guests who prefer an elegant stay or have a special someone they would like to impress. For those wishing to celebrate a special occasion (ie wedding, baby shower, parents visiting, etc), you are in the right place. Home Sweet Home!

As you walk into this 2 story gem, you will walk into the foyer of this home with a beautiful chandelier and access to the living room and another entrance to the dining room. This historic charm has an open floor plan with high ceilings, new wood floors tall living room windows that give it the old southern feel.

As you walk into the living room you will notice the chandelier above the table and a feeling of wanting to entertain family and friends. Enjoy your mornings on our breakfast area island adjacent to the beautifully decorated large kitchen with brand new cabinets and quartz to keep those family/friends gatherings going.

Each bedroom has its own individual air conditioning unit to keep you nice and cool during these hot summer days.

My family and I recently stayed at the property in order to be close to the Mission Inn and the Ontario Airport. The location was perfect. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed and wanted for our stay.

The house is old, but charming. We walked down 6th street right to the Mission Inn, which was convenient. Outdoor space is charming as well. Farmer's Market in Riverside was amazing! I would recommend Missy's place if you're there to hang out in downtown Riverside for sure!

Great stay
We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this property. As others have mentioned, it is a very clean property with all of the important household items. We did sleep on the new mattress downstairs and found it to be lovely. We took several walks to the Mission Inn area to look at all the holiday lights. Very beautiful if you decide to go. The house has lots of character and fit our group of 7 quite well. It was a great price and a great location!

There were four of us. My sister, her husband, my husband and myself. We loved the location. The home was clean and the owner responded to questions quickly. I would recommend this home. We did a couple day trips and a couple meals at the Mission Inn. This is the third time we’ve traveled to California together. This is the first time we stayed at this home. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Riverside. It was nice to be only 10 minutes away from school. The area was nice & housed everyone. It is a sweet, vintage home with everything you need nearby. Missy was great & communicated with us. She answered all of our questions promptly. Missy was a gracious host.

This home is perfect
The most important thing to me when traveling is cleanliness, especially bathrooms and beds. This home was so clean, I was immediately at ease. The home is beautiful and roomy. We were attending a wedding reception in downtown Riverside, so we were less than a mile away from the venue, which was so convenient. Despite being so close to downtown, the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. Missy, the homeowner, was responsive and timely, with all my questions. I would love to stay here again and I definitely recommend it.

Convenient and clean
We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed the location because we could walk to town. It handled our group easily with plenty of space. We were an older group, 62-87 years old so the stairs were a bit challenging for those of us who stayed upstairs. It was also a little awkward that we parked in back but had to come and go from the front door. But overall it was a nice property and very reasonable compared to most of the downtown hotels. The hostess was very responsive to all of our questions.

UC Riverside Graduation
9 family members gathered for 3 nights from across the nation to celebrate the youngest sibling. The house accommodated everyone nicely with great outdoor spaces as well. Kitchen was lacking a few items for cooking but we managed. Visit the the Mission Inn while there! Worth seeing!

Very Nice Home in a great area
Rented home for some of our guests that were in town for 2 weeks for a seminar at our gym. They loved the place. Said beds were very comfy and all amenities were top notch. We love putting our guests up in downtown Riverside so they are close to lots of restaurant and shopping options. We will definitely be keeping this place on the top of our list.

Charming Home
Missy's home was great for my family who were visiting from Australia for my wedding. It is spacious, clean, and truly a charming home. The location is great, the home is a short walk to the Food Lab and Starbucks. I communicated with Missy a few times and she was a pleasure to talk to! Definitely would recommend!
