"As soon as you enter the property you're transported down south. The very first thing you see when you drive in the driveway is their beautiful orchard with delicious fruit. When we looked at the photos we almost wondered if this was a scam,it most definitely IS NOT! The owner gave us a tour after we settled in. "The unit was adorable, very spacious, and modern! However, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and items left in the refrigerator, I’m guessing from the last occupants, which was surprisingly odd. Parking is expensive, but it’s Downtown Detroit, so that was pretty much expected. But everything is within walking distance, so that’s a plus! Overall, my stay was pretty decent. I will reserve in the future! "

"overall the room was nice and fitted our needs. the downside was that upon arrival i noticed the trash in the washroom was not cleaned out and the duvet cover was stained with a white substance. since it was late when i arrived i had to sleep in a bed with dirty sheets and no duvet. they were quick to respond and attempt to fix this. however the cleaner only dropped off a plastic bad of bedding. no duvet cover and the trash was not cleaned out. eventually after lots of back and first with...

"The Shinola hotel was amazing. We received an upgrade upon arrival at no extra charge, as I had prepaid already. The room was spacious and the shower was great. I enjoyed making coffee in the morning. Of course I brought my own. We would come back in a heartbeat."
