"We stopped in Scario on the way to Amalfi from Sicily. It was in the perfect spot to stop along the way and a beautiful quiet retreat after being on the beach in Mondello for a week. The owners were very easy to deal with and very understanding of our long drive to get there and our lateness. The drive into the location is a little confusing in the dark. Thankfully the owners provided us with map coordinates which we could use to navigate, The apartment is off the main road by about 800 meters...

"We spent a week at Le Cannicelle in August 2018 for a family reunion and holiday. We were 5 adults and 5 children (aged 6 to 15). We had an amazing week at Le Cannicelle - one that we will remember forever! The Villa is a gorgeous 3 floor structure and we rented the entire villa. On the first floor (or ground) are 3 bedrooms (one facing the sea, and the other two facing inwards), a large living and dining space, 2 full bathrooms and a nice spacious kitchen. "Beautiful peaceful location set in the mountains and overlooking the ocean with breathtaking views. The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. The owner was friendly and helpful too. My only criticism is it could have done with a good clean and good airing and updated bed linen and to have had a maid to at least change to towels. We also couldn’t find the outside bins and recycling so clear instructions would help but apart from that it was perfect."

"The booking and check in process were easy. Our host, Antonio, met us at the apartment even though we were delayed for several hours. The location is in Baia del Carpino, with gorgeous views of the Mediterranean. Because we stayed off-season, some shops and restaurants in the area were closed, but everything you need is just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We had an amazing stay! Checked in a little late in the afternoon and pool was closing, but they made an exception and allowed up to enjoy the pool. Drinks on the pool deck were amazing! The beach club was fabulous and food was great! We were treated like royalty! Truly impressed and will definitely visit again! Scalea has beautiful beaches and now one of our favorite spots! "

"What a joke. They advertise all these wonderful amenities and when we arrived there was absolutely nothing available. No spa, no beach, no tennis, no laundry facilities, no hair salon. We would never have stayed here if we had know. When we complained they offered us a free drink! I have complained through the hotel and the refuse to respond and tried to get a refund from Expedia with no luck. Don't go to this hotel if you are expecting lots to do.....there is nothing!"

"Lovely hotel. Approaching on arrival it has a very nice clean look, so straight away we were happy with our choice, and definitely, I would agree on a 4* Hotel. I have stayed in many areas of Italy, and this one comes close to a small handful of specific good hotels on the Amalfi coast. What I didn’t agree with, is the young staff are very loud with each other. "
