"We were in awe! So beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. Best sleep ever on vacation. Stefano is an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. Great recommendations and knowledge of area made our visit even more special. Location is walking distance to the Grande Piazza, restaurants, groceries and a lovely bakery right across the street. "Check in was easy. Staff very helpful. Room was large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Elevator was very helpful especially for getting to breakfast on the 4th floor. Breakfast room had glass all around providing a great view of the valley. Food was substantial. Even had pancakes. Adding eggs would be nice for visitors. Person working the breakfast room was very nice and made us fresh coffee and cappuccino each morning. Highly recommend this hotel. It is very close to the center of Cortona, easy walking to the many wonderful Cortona restaurants, stores and wine shop. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. "

"First off, Cortona is BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING! Such an amazing old walled city to walk, photograph and enjoy! Second, this property is one of the most beautiful and ancient places I’ve ever stayed! The halls and rooms were stunning. Old stone and iron everywhere. We stayed in the top room with the terrace. Oh man, I just can’t tell you how beautiful and fun this stay was. We sat on the terrace and watched the meteor shower while I did night photography! This property is stunning. The parking down the hill was free! Just pull into the parking lot, park, then call the desk to get you a taxi up to the hotel! Unless you’re fit and can climb a hill with suitcases get a quick 2 minute taxi up there! Trust me, it’s a walled city and the walk up and down is a thing! It’s only 150 yards or so but damn, it’s an ancient cobble stone hill! Get the ride! Bring comfy shoes because you’re gonna walk the whole town! "

"The Villa di Piazzano is stunning down to the smallest detail. The staff is attentive, pleasant and helpful. The food and wine at the onsite restaurant was some of the best we had on our 23-day trip across Italy. One of our favorite stays for sure!"
